A: Hey Tamara, Thanks for the question! The material we used for this handrail was 1.5" x 3" steel posts and 1/2" x 1/2" square tube in between the posts. It was custom built by a metal fabricator and powder coated with a matte black finish. We installed a walnut wood cap to the metal. We thought it added a nice touch to the modern look of the project.
