> If you like black mold then this is the company for you! A little over a year after we had them install three toilets, we discovered that two were installed incorrectly. One had leaked so much that we had black mold that had to be treated by a professional restoration and cleaning company. Northern Plains is refusing to cover the cost of the cleanup and for a different plumbing company to install the toilets correctly. Avoid at all costs!

> Edited to add: They contacted me after I left a poor review and wanted to make it right. I would prefer to rate them higher, but I hate when it has to come to that in order to receive the service I originally paid for. In addition, when they called I was gaslighted quite a bit about my experience: the insinuation that I didn't explain the exact issue enough when I described exact weather conditions to the two techs, telling me that their tech didn't blow me off when the tech literally said he didn't think what I described caused the issue, and then describing how it might not be their fault at all but the builders. It also felt like there was some name dropping about local well known people who possibly had the same issue which had the opposite of the intended effect. All it told me was that I wasn't prominent enough to put in the extra work to figure out the problem. So, anyway, we have a new thermostat and won't know until the next blustery storm with a strong north wind whether it works or not. Finish edit.

When they came out the first time, the furnace was still under warranty. The whistling was fixed, the heating problem was not.

I mean, when they've already proved they can't or won't take the time to fix a problem in a product they installed, I can't trust them.
