If a client only needs one item, then I just charge them 15% above my designer discount price.  If I design an entire room, I charge a $1,500 flat fee, plus the 15% above my discounted price on whatever pieces we need.  Typically, for an entire room, clients spend approximately $20,000 for all the furniture, rugs, lighting, accessories, painting, etc.
