### Reviews

**★★★★★ — Steven Thomas, Feb. 2024**

> Brian and Charisma helped us through a huge renovation on our house (basement dig, underpin, finish, all bathrooms, built-ins, and updating many features of the house).
>
> We are so happy with all of the work that they did. Their skill, and taste levels are really exceptional, and even now, a year after our renovation has completed, we are so happy with every detail of the work that they did. Our house has such a wonderful feeling, largely driven by CAB's ability to pick up on small details related to our own taste, combined with their talents.
>
> We couldn't be happier and we would jump at the chance to work with them again for any future renovations.
>
> Can't recommend them enough. They are wonderful people, and so talented at what they do.

**★★★★★ — Natalie D., Feb. 2024**

> Brian and Charisma were a pleasure to work with. They completed a gut reno for us of a craftsman style home and added a two story addition. Professional, efficient and always honest. They took the inspiration / ideas we had and came up with a renovation that was truly special. They worked hard to achieve our dream renovation while sticking to the budget. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend them and we'll be reaching out when we want to complete the final piece to our home reno - our basement.

**★★★★★ — Casey Juanxi Li, Nov. 2022**

> Brian and Charisma are really thoughtful and human architects. We did a very thorough search of all the well-reviewed firms in Toronto, and went with CAB because they were far and above the rest in terms of understanding and engaging with what the house meant to us. We feel that they managed to craft something which was simultaneously deeply functional, beautiful, and reflected our worldview and values, which is a hard task when working with the constraints of a 100+ year old home. We're really grateful and the entire process was a true pleasure. Thank you!

**★★★★★ — Jen Murphy, Nov. 2022**

> Working with Charisma and Brian has been an absolute dream from start to finish. We did a significant house renovation and they supported us from the planning/design stages through to construction. Our project was almost a full house renovation, including an addition on the back of the house, kitchen, 1 bathroom, 1 office, 1 bedroom, and outdoor space. We could not be more thrilled with how it turned out.
>
> In the planning stages of our project, CAB really took the time to understand us and our goals, as well as our budget. They presented us with a few (excellent!) options and supported our decision-making process along the way. They worked with us to interview and hire a fantastic contractor and then managed the project directly with the construction team. We had so much trust in them to ensure everything went smoothly and that no detail was missed.
>
> Charisma has an incredible way of envisioning the potential of a space and often dreamed up beautiful touches we would have never thought of. She was so supportive during the materials selection process (something we struggled with) and we're so happy with all of our tiles/fixtures/materials to this day.
>
> I truly can't recommend CAB enough.

**★★★★★ — HU-185508202, Oct. 2022**

> Charisma from CAB Architects was amazing to work with on my renovation. She strikes a great balance between understanding what you want in the design and thinking outside the box with options that will augment the space. She also has great attention to detail which makes the execution process seamless with the trades/suppliers.

**★★★★★ — Creative Integrity, May 2022**

> We’ve had the distinct pleasure of working with CAB on several of their projects and would happily recommend them to anyone looking for a talented and devoted design team to lead their build or renovation. CAB’s refined approach to design, drafting, and communication always makes for a pleasant and efficient working experience for us and our construction team. Looking forward to the next one, CAB! Thank You – Kevin from Creative Integrity

> We have a 100+ year old home and were looking to renovate/update our existing home.
> Brian and Charisma were exactly what we were looking for and would happily work with them in a heartbeat. They are extremely detailed, dedicated to their craft, and very knowledgeable in every aspect of design and function.
> They helped design a beautiful space that unites the original elements of the house with the new.

**★★★★★ — Steph Hodsoll, Aug. 2021**

> Charisma and Brian are very knowledgeable and very easy to work with. They really want to understand your needs and make a space work for you. They went over and above on several occasions to ensure that we ended up with the perfect home for us. We started with master planning an entire house but ended up starting with just a few floors (including modifications to our original master plan), but they were flexible and supportive throughout the entire process. Beyond their outstanding professional and technical knowledge, they are wonderful people who really care about their clients.

**★★★★★ — HU-40156083, Aug. 2021**

> We've worked with CAB Architects on a number of projects over the years and always found them to be very client focus but still pragmatic in their approach to design and construction. Always a pleasure to work with!

**★★★★★ — User, Aug. 2021**

> Charisma and Brian are exceptional architects and I can recommend the team at CAB without hesitation. I came to CAB with a desire to reimagine and renovate my third floor master bedroom. They took the time to listen and to craft a unique design around my goals. The results have exceeded my expectations and significantly changed my family’s home for the better.

**★★★★★ — HU-161951437, Aug. 2021**

> CAB Architects always do excellent job, and I will definitely recommend them to anybody who needs the architectural design done.

**★★★★★ — lmodonnell820, Aug. 2021**

> We can't fully express how wonderful it was to work with Brian and Charisma. We did our first full home renovation and having Brian and Charisma lead us through this process was a tremendous help and relief. They were incredibly attentive, responsive and supportive throughout the whole process. They helped us realize our dream home and brought tremendous creativity and care to our project. We really appreciated that they were always considerate of our style, budget, and creative process from start to finish.

We sought to turn the dilapidated Edwardian into our home and studio. - Description: Our clients hoped to bring more natural light into their ground floor and to reorganize the spaces in a more functional way. An existing window in the middle of the ground floor was converted to a new side entry, allowing for more daylight to penetrate the centre of the ground floor. The kitchen remains at the back of the house, but was remade with new custom cabinetry to provide a mix of open and closed storage that cleverly conceals necessary ductwork stacks. - Description: Our clients came to us looking to update their Victorian home in Koreatown. Inspired by Parisian interiors, this renovation seeks to build on the existing architectural features of this home - embracing the proportions, decorative mouldings - and adding new features - arched openings, ceiling medallions, brass details - that compliment them. We also are aiming to bring more natural light into the floor plate by adding large window openings at the back of the house. In the dining room, we created…

  - Description: Our goal with this design was to reinterpret traditional styling and detailing in a modern way throughout the house. The front facade is whitewashed pink brick with dark navy-grey trimwork. The kitchen utilizes caned upper cabinets, brass fixtures, and a bright white marble countertops and backsplash to contrast with the black base cabinets. The dining room showcases the patterned herringbone floors, and us complimented by a glossy pale blue ceiling. Between the kitchen and dining rooms is a "pa…

  - Description: Our clients purchased a two storey condominium unit facing the waterfront, and asked for our help to develop their Master Bedroom suite.
