**Q: Help with decor** *(in Home Decorating)*

What else can I put here to make it more of a modern farmhouse or just to dress it up. Thanks

A: Window treatments such as shades or curtains will help with elevation. You can also do an area rug to define the space, however, it's a bit difficult to say if it will work without proper dimensions. Based on your photos, it looks like a tall and narrow floor plant will fit nicely near the window or on the opposite wall in the corner.

**Q: Modernize den area** *(in Home Decorating)*

Looking for ideas on how to modernize this space. Definitely going to change the rug out to flooring but not sure what to do for the wood paneling. Any ideas?

A: Love Rho's idea of painting the walls and panels the same color. The panels would also look great painted in a dark grey or charcoal shade. The dark grey gives off a more modern feel, but if you're looking for even more color you can do an earthy green. If you're feeling bold, reverse the colors by painting the panels white and the walls one of said colors.
