> Derek and his team were amazing to work with. We did not have prior experience working with a contractor, and worried about cost, timeliness and communication. We called a few contractors and many of them were hesitant to even come out and talk to us about our project. Derek was the opposite. He spent about a month working with us, and providing concept designs. It was a little like working with a designer from HGTV. We told him our budget up front and he was able to help us get as much as we could for the money we had. He even connected us with a landscaper for future plans. The thing that really sets Derek apart though is his communication. He didn't project any defensiveness, and worked alongside us when we were concerned about the project. He said repeatedly, "I want to make sure I get your dream right." And he did. We WILL work with Derek again, and I would highly recommend him to anyone else.

**Q: Yes to colored cabinets** *(in Photo Questions)*

I love the two tone of the cabinets. I really would like to do a white on top and a teal/green color for the bottom.
