I purchased $2,700 worth of Glacier Honed Tile based on two things: (1) the sample I saw in the retailer showroom, and (2) a second sample I received direct from the manufacturer. WHAT DID WE CHOOSE? If you look at the first photo below, the top piece is the showroom sample. It was perfect - some thin gray veins with some tones of green and white. It paired with the green penny marble like they were born to go together. WHAT DID WE GET? The tile on the bottom. Smudgy dark gray on top of smudgy light gray with no green tones at all. My husband says it looks like dirty snow. WHAT WAS MARBLE SYSTEMS RESPONSE? Too bad, so sad. They said that this is just "normal variation and unapologetically washed their hands of the whole affair.
