First, we were getting a dog and wanted a dog door installed. Jack Brawner, owner of Brawner Design, helped us pick out the safest dog door to install and weather resistant also. Very pleased with it and our dog uses it continually. While here doing the dog door, we asked him to look at where we had bathroom doors swing out of master bathroom in a narrow hall-like entry to the master bathroom. We discussed wanting doors that would slide open but not a pocket door. Jack again was able to execute a track system for the doors to slide open instead of out. > > After these two small projects, we hired Jack for a big project - landscaping the backyard to complement the in-ground trampoline system that was being installed. We discussed wanting a fun backyard but also functional. He chose trees and bushes that look great in the yard but will not grow over the trampoline. He laid concrete down for our above ground hot tub and a porch area for outdoor lounging area, all covered by a beautiful pergola with a lighting system plus fan system. Additionally, he laid out a few putting greens around the hot tub. This backyard is very well utilized and we have experienced many fun parties back there since all of this labor was put into it. It is all so pleasing to the eye as well. Very satisfied customers. > > Knowing Jack very well now, we have called upon him when we think of ways to refurbish items also. My husband asked for an old French door to paint with the plan to hang on the wall to use to fill all the window panes with photos from our trips to Hawaii. Jack provided us with the French door because he really liked the concept and then he developed a design to anchor the French door to the foyer's wall but have it open with chains and locks on the top to close the door once photos are in the panes. This will allow us to change out photos easily when we desire. > > Lastly, I've just been in touch with Jack again as I have a mirrored side table that has cracked legs but I don't want to just throw the table away. Instead, I found a great bargain on a yellow metal stool that I want Jack to put underneath the mirror top instead. He is already developing a plan to cut off the cracked legs of the round, mirrored table and develop a way to permanently attach it to the yellow, metal stool.
