> Kirsten is wonderful to work with.  She is creative, thoughtful and really listens to get to know you and what you are looking for.  We have known her for almost 10 years now (ignore the project date we've worked with her from 2004 - 2012).  She is so positive and responsive.  You will thoroughly enjoy working with Kirsten and love living with the results.

Since we were so pleased with the work, we asked her help with our living room.  This is where we really saw her creativity with color.  We had a picture we loved and wanted to build the room around it. She pulled out colors from the picture we would have never thought of and created a warm, comfortable sitting room from what we considered an awkward room for furniture.

From selecting the counter tops (colors we would never have thought of), to figuring out how to create a focal point with tile yet not having to rip everything out.  And the end product is amazing.

> Kirsten was a true pleasure to work with on so many levels.  She is always professional and has a very calm demeanor, which is why we hired her.  I had some of my own ideas of where I wanted to go with our design which she openly accepted and complimented with her ideas.  When I didn't have a clue, she was right on track with my style and provided great ideas.  I appreciated the fact that she allowed me to be part of the process and never got angry if I preferred something other than she suggested (or changed my mind).  I was not local, but the process was very seemless.  We emailed and spoke and it was never an obstacle.  Our deadline was asap as Kirsten was starting from scratch on our home.  She showed a sense of urgency and kept me informed of timelines throughout the process.  She was often more on budget than I was!  Kirsten took control of managing the entire project.  We also had some contruction work done that she helped to facilitate.  She coordinated the work and access and was on-site for all deliveries.  For me this was very important since we were not local.  Kirsten also had great working relationships with all of her vendors and contacts.  Anytime I needed something she had a contact for me.  I continue to use her as a resource and she also continues to work with us if we are making any changes to the decor/design in our home.  We started in 2009, but Kirsten continues to work for us today.  I would recommend Kirsten to anyone!

> I first hired Kirsten in Aug. 2008 to redecorate two bedrooms. Since then, she has gone on to redo  all the rooms in my house (some of which can be seen on her web site and on houzz). After almost four years,we are the last room, the library.   Kirsten turned a dark and dated house into a delightful and comfortable home.

> When we started I thought I knew how I wanted the place to feel but not how it should look to get that way.  From our first meeting, Kirsten patiently and carefully listened.  She gracefully accepted that I wanted to shop at vintage and antique stores and wanted to be more hands on than most customers, but she  was always gently in control of the process.

> It is impossible to talk about details since the job entailed completely redoing six rooms (including the kitchen) and two baths.  Kirsten does fabulous work for a fair price and always puts the customer's interests first.  She is beloved by the trades people she works with because she is kind and very nice, but she really gets the job done.
