At Flat Rock we draw images from the local vernacular, and our dynamic yet coherent designs have been loosely labeled as northwest contemporary, traditional cottage, neo-agricultural, cannery-factory and surf shack.  We are passionate about adaptive reuse and sustainable design, and love to integrate reclaimed and re-imagined materials into our projects. A: It's a cast concrete counter with glass chips in the mix, made by a local artisan.

**Q: Siding** *(in Photo Questions)*

I love the siding used on this project. Can you tell me the materials used on both the upper and lower exterior siding? Thank you!

A: Hi Mary, thanks for asking.  The upper portion is 1x10 board + 1x3 batt, painted Benjamin Moore "Snow White".  The lower portion is just shingles painted Benjamin Moore "Cliffside Grey".
