This was our first condo and our first ever renovation. The condo was almost 30 years old and in original condition so it was in need of a major update. The condo was demolished down to the studs, the floor plan was redesigned to the extent possible and everything was replaced including flooring, drywall, millwork, countertops, bathrooms, showers, plumbing fixtures, lighting fixtures, fireplace, doors, door hardware and closets. The project was completed in about seven months, which included the Christmas holiday period, within budget and on time. Arthur and all the LOTOS Construction team were amazing. We were not able to stay at the condo while the work was ongoing and we were out of the country for the entire time, except for one trip to Vancouver about 2 1/2 months into the project. We had every confidence in Arthur, Jack, Janusz, Nikki and the rest of the LOTOS Construction team. Our neighbours were so impressed that workers were at our condo every day. Without fail, we received detailed weekly progress reports from Arthur with a status update, site photos and a budget update. There were a few unexpected issues that arose but when they did we were immediately informed of the situation with options for addressing them and they were dealt with promptly and efficiently. When we returned to Vancouver at the end of the project and saw the end result, we were overwhelmed! It was exactly as we planned and hoped it would be. Arthur and his team are professionals, the quality of their work is excellent and they take great pride in what they do.
