> We hired DSO Designs to redesign our master bathroom and upstairs hall bathroom. Our master bathroom had not been updated since it was built in 1985. It was spacious, but the shower was tiny and stuffed in a small room with the toilet. Doreen Owens came up with a phenomenal design that allowed us to open up the shower, while still maintaining a large tub and dual-sink vanity area. With the patience of a saint, she also helped us select all of the materials to create the luxurious environment we desired while staying within our budget constraints. Our hall bathroom did not require structural change, but here again, Doreen helped us choose just the right materials to create a classic yet contemporary look for our teenage son and daughter. Once she created the designs and helped us select all of the materials, she worked with our contractor through project completion to ensure that everything went according to plan. Doreen offered knowledgeable, practical advice; was always on time; and quickly responded to any of our questions or concerns. She was a pleasure to work with throughout the process and we couldn't recommend her more highly.

What material was used on the island and counter tops?  Thank you!

A: Hi,
The material on the islands is Dekton by Cosentino and the other countertops are
Ceasarstone- Lagos Blue.  I think the Lagos Blue has been discontinued.

What material was used in the shower pan area?

A: The shower floor is a 1" x 3" mosaic tile, it is a porcelain tile.

A: Hi 
It was ordered online. It is made by Kichler and size is 24" wide by 3" tall in brushed nickel.

**Q: Is that a pullout shower head or do you know the name of this system?** *(in Photo Questions)*

A: Yes, This is a pullout hand held shower head.  This is a roman tub faucet from Kohler.
The style is Denvonshire. You have to add the hand held with a special mounting bracket.

**Q: Countertop overhang** *(in Photo Questions)*

How much does countertop overhang? What do you recommend with 2 1/4 mitered edge?

A: Hi-  I probably wouldn't have the overhang go to much beyond the face of the drawer or door fronts.
Most edges if you are using a 3/4 " piece of stone or quartz usually has an edge that is 1 1/2".
I am guessing your fabricator or contractor has to build up the sub deck to accommodate the 2 1/4" edge.
I would also check with your fabricator what he general does with regard to how much the countertop comes out over the base cabinets.

**Q: I love this backsplash, but has it been discontinued? I can't find it** *(in Photo Questions)*

I have looked on the Eleganza website but cannot find it.

A: HI.  I went on eleganzatiles.com and went to the online catalog and found it.
It is listed under New York.  Color called Brooklyn.  The coloring on the monitor is not
as good as the pic above.   I am guessing it is still available since it is on their website.
