Stone Park was the third supplier I visited and the third time was definitely the charm in this case. While one of the places where I went literally had nothing I liked, at Stone Park, I was inundated with great choices. Nick was very helpful explaining the characteristics of each stone and promptly worked with my fabricator on pricing for the finalists. While he stocks stones in many price ranges, there was a lot of higher end quartzite and other exotic stone in inventory. I wish I had started here -- I would have saved a lot of effort. We bought the TECHNISTONE NOBLE ARETI BIANCO made in the Czech Republic and imported to USA. It is a fantastic quality quartz. Very durable and after 6 month of daily use - we don't have one single scratch or chip. Previously we had a granite that lasted us 20 years. Technistone Quartz is a surface made using the patented BRETON technology, with over 90% crushed quartz, mirrors, glass and granite and the further \>10% is a blend of pigments and polymer resins that result in a very practical quartz surface, highly resistant to scratching, staining and heat. This quart is 100x better than highly overrated Cambria and Silvestone. We did an enormous research and after our own bad experience with MSI quartz purchaed in another place - the Technistone is the winner. Technistone quartz is used in high end homes in Europe, Canada, Dubai and Australia. It is very highly rated and used in restaurant bars as well. We are extremely happy with the Noble Areti Bianco Technistone. I belive it is Aqua Venato but we have not seen it for a while. We purchased the house with the backsplash shown in the picture, it's white, teal, sea foam green and grey, my cabinets are white. My floor is tile and light coloured, white with a little bit of blue and beige. I was considering a white granite for the countertops and possibly another coulor for the island.
