> We found Tracy and her team through Houzz. We couldn't be happier with our dream home just completed in August. Tracy came up with a lot of good suggestions to incorporate surrounding nature with the structure. Our house is so handsome, bright and warm wrapped by big trees. Both Tracy and her staff Annette are super nice to work with and they always found time to answer our questions and discuss all the details with great patience.

**Comment from Tracy A. Stone Architect:**

> Thank you, Min! We really enjoyed working with you both, and the house really turned out well.

> We had the good fortune of working on a landscape design for a residential remodel that Tracy A Stone Architect was the project lead for. We designed our work in tandem with her firm’s, working together to create a strong indoor-outdoor connection for our client. Tracy and her team’s level of professionalism, innovation and communication made the entire design process run smoothly, and I would recommend them highly.

**★★★★★ — Sapphire Construction & Development, April 2018**

> We highly recommend Tracy & her team!
> We used them on several different projects from single family to multi residential. They are talented, patient and creative.

**★★★★★ — Osman Karahan, Nov. 2017**

> I have been active in real estate development for approximately 10 years. Therefore I have worked with numerous architects. I have met with Tracy for a mix-use property development project. She understood my goals quickly and listed the requirements for the project in details. Tracy and her team have completed the new plans flawlessly and provided me the necessary construction permits from the city right on time. The communication with Tracy and her team was very easy. They were easy to reach and very helpful from the beginning to the end. Working with Tracy Stone was 100% uncomplicated and effective for my project. Basically, Tracy Stone and her team are practical, solid and reliable.
>
> Also, they have this beautiful smart office dog and that is a plus.

**★★★★★ — Garrett Champion, Oct. 2017**

> Tracy delivers on-time, on-budget, and above expectations with her deliverable. Her team is a pleasure to work with and combines creativity with practical knowledge of the building code to design a truly unique product.

**★★★★★ — Sherry Cefali, Oct. 2017**

> Tracy Stone came up with a unique and wonderful vision for our kitchen and guest bath that completely transformed our home. She brought in so much natural light into the house and created the most beautiful kitchen ever! Tracy is very easy to work with and I thought her fees were quite reasonable. I just engaged Tracy to work with me on remodeling 3 bathrooms. I'm excited to see what she comes up with!!

**★★★★★ — Mabel Chang, Oct. 2017**

> We had a challenging project with many restraints, Tracy and team presented many solutions to address issues of concern to everyone. The firm was professional throughout, keeping us informed on all communications with government agencies and consultants. They always responded to questions immediately, and delivered their work as promised. Exemplary architectural firm!

**★★★★★ — Keith Lickitwongse, Oct. 2017**

> After meeting with several architects that had experience with small lot subdivisions, we ultimately decided to go with Tracy A. Stone Architect. We felt that her aesthetics had the right mix of modern design with components that added warmth and charm that would appeal to a large portion of today's sophisticated home buyer. We are on to our 2nd SLS project with Tracy now, as well as a major renovation project of a "forever home" for my wife and I. Most importantly, we felt that Tracy has the right demeanor and personality that we were looking for in a long-term partnership. She has very well thought out ideas and is also a great listener. She takes time to hear our thoughts and goals, and can really translate them into her designs. We look forward to many more projects together!

**★★★★★ — BMR Enterprises, Oct. 2017**

> We love working with Tracy Stone Architects. Have had the opportunity on several occasions, and are looking to bring more to their office. Such a pleasant, responsive, and diligent group. Their plans are clean and very well coordinated, what a critical difference this makes to the build schedule. They make the entitlement, permitting and construction phases of a new construction project a dream.

**★★★★★ — Marilee, March 2013**

> After working with two prior architects, we hired Tracy A. Stone to design a remodel plan for our mid-century home in Altadena. We found Tracy to be an excellent listener, extremely detail-oriented, tremendously talented and an absolute pleasure to work with. She designs incredibly bright and beautiful spaces while keeping project stages moving smoothly and in a timely manner. Unfortunately for us, we wound up selling the house before we could bring her design to life. But we would hire her again without hesitation and wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone looking for an exceptionally-talented, down-to-earth architect to create a beautiful living or commercial space.

**★★★★★ — Addition Building & Design, Inc., Feb. 2013**

> I had my first introduction to Tracy and her architectural business this week and was extremely inpressed with her quality of work and designs--and she was very personable.
> Her office is great and she has the latest "visual tour" of your new remodel or new home to help her clients.
> I look forward to our next project together and will recommend her to my clients.

**Comment from Tracy A. Stone Architect:**

> Thank you Mike! We look forward to working together as well.

**★★★★★ — C Wilson, Feb. 2013**

> We engaged Tracy Stone for a multi-phase remodel in 2010, completing construction on the first phase in mid-2011. It was a wonderful experience. Tracy and her team have always been remarkably easy to work with, open to input, and a font of good ideas. We are currently working with her on finalizing plans for subsequent remodel phases and can't wait for the results.

Recycled redwood siding, trellises, and translucent shading 'fins' unify and warm the western facade, allowing the light and breeze to pour in, but provide shading from the intense western sun

  - Description: The existing 2 bedroom, 1 bath, house in Echo Park had beautiful views to the west overlooking the city, but was sadly undersized for this working family of three. The project added a new master suite with home office for the writer, a new entrance with access to the backyard and views, and converted the existing exterior porch into a new dining room. The master bedroom, bathroom and office all occupy one split-level room; maximizing views and making each space feel large and airy. The bed, cabi…

  - Location: Los Angeles, CA
  - Photos: 15
  - Description: When our client purchased this property, the dilapidated carriage house at the rear felt more frightening than monumental. Yet when nominated as City of Los Angeles Historic-Cultural Monument \#166, the building was considered to be the best remaining example of a Victorian-era carriage house in the city. The architectural challenge was to maintain all of the historic fabric, while updating the building to create a jewel box that could act as either a party-house/pool cabana in conjunction with a…

  - Description: The existing 1970’s stucco ranch-style house had not been updated for decades. The interior featured a raised roof over the living room with exposed glu-lam beams and wood ceiling, but the sloping roof cut off the spectacular views to the east over the San Gabriel valley. The wooded slope to the west and the low eaves kept the entry and kitchen dark throughout most of the year. The cabinetry and bathrooms throughout the house were tired and badly needed a facelift. - Description: Located in the middle of the desert, this house uses a handful of sustainable design ideas to heat and cool the interior spaces depending on the season. To better control the light and heat impact during the different seasons and what would be ideal in each, we've created a "Winter" and "Summer" bedroom. The main living space and summer bedroom face entirely north to eliminate sun blasting into the space while the winter bedroom opens up to the south to encourage sunlight to pour into the space…
