Because the ceiling is pitched, on one side there's no gap, and on the other side, there's a 1/8" to 1/4" gap (as the drywall is tilted). The sheetrocker did use a tearaway bead but the inconsistency of gap vs. no gap is driving me nuts. I may have no choice but to caulk it. Worried about caulk cracking and looking crappy... Did you guys caulk your beams? If so, any issues with caulk cracking? A: Hi Germain, I've asked the homeowners to give me feedback regarding this issue.
