I knew we would need a designer for a project as large as a kitchen, especially after just hiring one of those bathroom remodel companies to do our 2 bathrooms. That was a terrible experience! So we spent the money and hired Bonnie hoping she could capture what we imagined and hoping she had preferred contractors she works with. First off, our first meeting was very professional she came with her tools and laptop to show us her portfolio and use her software to measure our entire space. She gave us a few referrals for contractors and met us to interview the contractors so she could relay her design to them and make sure we were all on the same page. All I had to do was approve the budget! They spoke about measurements and design. Levi and Tom did an amazing job with everything. When they set up a barrier to keep our living space clean since it would take 2 ish months, we already knew this was going to be a better experience than the bathrooms. They went through the demo and basic building (the dirty stuff) pretty quick! A few weeks? Whenever they had design or material questions they just went to Bonnie then if we had to order something she would just order it or give us a few options. Like for the 32 cabinet door pulls we had to order. She was super easy to get a hold of and she sent us all sorts of ideas as we moved forward. I think her preferred vendor list made the whole experience soooooo much easier.
