Solcorp Developments is a high-end family home builder in the Collingwood and Toronto area's. Since 2007 we have built beautiful and functional homes by starting with a vision of what a family wants and needs. We achieve this through attention to detail and quality finishes at every step along the way. By drawing on personal family experience we are able to ask the questions "What does a family need?" and "How does a family want a particular functional area to look?" to ensure that function and aesthetic go hand in hand. Typical features of our homes that appeal to the active family include a large mudroom, Chef's kitchen and Great Room for entertaining.

We'd be happy to discuss your future home with you.

## Community Q&A

**Q: What metal is used?** *(in Photo Questions)*

A: It is not metal but metallic looking porcelain tiles. 24"x24"

**Q: Fireplace material** *(in Photo Questions)*

What is the material in between stone? Does it cut down on stone cost?

A: It is Porcelain tile. You will have to compare costs as I don't remember the price of each. I was trying to achieve this look.

**Q: The Chair** *(in Photo Questions)*

Where can I purchase the chair?
or who is the designer of the print

A: I do not know the chair source.

**Q: Is the floor finished with tung oil? They really are beautiful!** *(in Photo Questions)*

A: Thank you. They are reclaimed elm. No tung oil.

**Q: How were the lights install?** *(in Photo Questions)*

How were the lights installed on the stone? I see that the plate behind the light seems to be like a stone electrical box? Is that what was used? If so, please tell me where to buy it?

If it was installed some other way, please let me know how. I'm using the same stones and same lights for my fireplace.

A: Yes I think we placed the lights on a stone plate. The light fixtures had its own plate so we needed to raise it up from the stone. Check with your stone manufacturer.

**Q: Fireplace elevation material** *(in Photo Questions)*

Is the center elevation on the fireplace clad in tiles or metal? Love this combination with the stacked stone.

A: Thank you. The centre is tiles.
