James & his incredible crew had to completely remove the upper tiled terrace & replace 15 joists. They had rebuild the stringers of the outside staircase & install stair treads, & they wonderful deck & stair rails. They replaced all the 6x6 posts because the other contractor had installed them in dirt not concrete so they had warped. They installed bead board ceiling under gables, replaced several Hardie planks, flashing, trim, stone foundation, concrete patio, sidewalk & driveway. On the interior they had to repair the staircase stringers to code, install treads & replace the molding. He built this beautiful storage bench in one day by himself from a picture I showed him. He is a true craftsman! He installed crown moldings, baseboards & shoebase. They stoned fireplace & installed mantle. His crew installed the hardwood floors & painted interior. JDM listened to our vision and communicated every step of the way. The project came in on budget and we knew in advance the areas that would cost more/less depending on choices. There were no surprises. Our project took 4 weeks, which we knew in advance. Out of those 4 weeks only 3 days were lost due to weather or inspection. They communicated with us if the crew was not going to be able to work. The workmanship is the highest quality. We had very high expectations for our screen room and new deck.
