> Christopher did a great job with the architecture of our remodel. I would recommend him in a heartbeat. The process was easy, and the outcomes have proved to be wonderful.

**★★★★★ — Rob Tenery, June 2016**

> After years of searching for our dream home in Santa Fe, we found it when we walked into the garden. Then, we went into the fabulous old adobe, which also came with a separate guest house with an Historic Marker, limiting any additions--sold. In the Historic area, the original adobe was dated 1820's, with several wings added by previous owners. This structure needed work with roof issues, good design for more space, improved use of space and better heating. After living there for a year to "get to know" the house and decide what was needed, our major concern was to choose an architect who would understand our needs and who would listen to what WE wanted: stay true to the original design and not appear as an add-on.
> First, Christopher Purvis is an honorable human being. Besides this, he designed our project using every bit of space possible. He had served on the Historic Board and other committees which provided an understanding of the rules for building in our area in Santa Fe. When one gets involved in remolding and adding-on to an old home, there are numerous surprises. His meetings with us were thoughtful, with time well -spent, taking many of our images provided of what we liked, and ending up with a beautiful set of plans. One of the best suggestions he gave us was to add AC : thank you, Christopher! The additions he made and his suggestions for our contractors whom we interviewed were all excellent. We appreciated his patience, insight, talent, and look forward to working with him again, hopefully using his plans for our own casita. All of the other comments certainly compliment what it is like working with Christopher.

**Comment from A Christopher Purvis Architects:**

> Rob thank you for taking the time to post this thoughtful review. I also enjoyed the collaboration and appreciated both of your attention to all the details

> I have known Christopher Purvis for the last fourteen years. We have collaborated on designing homes in the Santa Fe area. Christopher is a very talented and creative architect. He brings a great wealth of knowledge about structure, design and topography. As an interior designer I feel he is very easy to work with and is open to working together bringing our two separate skill sets together. Christopher keeps in touch with his clients during the planning, building and post construction process. He will continue to serve as a resource and will help resolve any future issues that may come up years later. He has wonderful communications skills with the trades as well as with the homeowner and serves as a liaison between them keeping them on task, schedule and budget.

> We worked with Christopher Purvis for more than a year to design our new home in Santa Fe and then for about two years while it was being built. Not only did he help us through the design development process, he also gave us suggestions for choosing suppliers of items such as applicances, tile and plumbing fixtures. As we were not from the southwest, he helped us understand the differences between building in the northeast and building in the southwest. He brought many of his design ideas to the project but he also found ways to problem solve to incorporate ideas which met our needs and desires. He was invaluable in guiding us through structuring a building contract, choosing a builder, and assessing sub-contractors bids. During the construction phase, he was always available to discuss our issues, to help us navigate the inevitable unanticipated problems and to problem solve issues which arose. He was always professional and worked well with the contractor and sub-contractors. We are very appreciative of the expertise and understanding that he brought to this more than three year project. We are very happy with the end result.

**Comment from A Christopher Purvis Architects:**

> Carmen thank you I believe the end result was a reflection of the hard work of all the parties involved

**★★★★★ — Gardensong, Jan. 2016**

> I am a landscaper and recently worked with Christopher Purvis. The house was large and complicated and I was frequently working out project issues with Christopher. He was willing and helpful and easy to work with. He was solution oriented and worked well with the builder and myself to resolve problems. I highly recommend him as an architect and hope to work with him in the future.

**Comment from A Christopher Purvis Architects:**

> Thank you Sam I was glad that you were part of the team

**★★★★★ — gtduncan, Jan. 2016**

> Christopher Purvis designed and managed the construction of our house in Santa Fe. He is a remarkably talented and creative architect who works extremely well with clients. He is sensitive to client needs while maintaining a strong sense of professional integrity. Specifically he welcomed both my input and that of my son, who is a registered architect in New York and New Jersey. He also has the professional and interpersonal skills to work effectively with builders and city officials. I would be most pleased to work with him again.

**Comment from A Christopher Purvis Architects:**

> Thank you George a great team makes a great house

**★★★★★ — mindywteolis, Jan. 2016**

> Christopher designed our dream home. He was patient, knowledgeable, easy to communicate and work with, a true professional. He listened to us, and incorporated OUR ideas, not just his own. He is a man without ego--the perfect type to work with. He carried the project with the builder to the end, and still is available to us when we want to pick his brains! If we were to design another home, there is no question----- we would call him.

**Comment from A Christopher Purvis Architects:**

> Thank you Mindy and Simon a great house is always the result of teamwork and i have learned and appreciated your participation throughout the project
