Daniel Moran Architect was formed in 1996 to specialize in custom residential projects. Working with great clients on unique sites on all the major Islands we have developed an approach to residential design that is well suited to these beautiful islands. Every project is an opportunity for Design. No project is too large or too small.

Floor to ceiling sliding doors disappearing into walls combined with sensitive detailing blurs the distinction between interior space and exterior space, allowing the landscaping, views, and pools to become part of the interior space... Simple, yet elegant detailing, “honed” finished natural stones, “matte” finished hardwoods, natural fabric wall coverings, and an earth toned palette all contribute to this vision of the contemporary Hawaiian home.

> Dan Moran was the archtect who designed our home and oversaw the construction.  We were very pleased with the design as Dan was able to take our concepts of the style and type of home and build our dream home.  He is creative, attuned to costs and detail oriented. We found him to be straight-forward and honest.   We especially appreciated his detailed knowledge of construction, materials, building methods and codes. He delivered quality work in a timely manner and, should we build another home, we would ask Dan to be the architect.
