> Working with Laura was a delight and easy from the beginning of the project right down to the last throw cushion.  Laura was able to transform our newly constructed pool house into a relaxing oasis that I have a hard time leaving once I step inside!

> Laura listened carefully to my ideas for how the new pool house would be used and learned my tastes, likes and dislikes.  As a next step Laura presented me with a plan of how to proceed.  She followed her plan up shortly thereafter with her choices of fabrics, light fixtures and how to refinish existing furniture in a way to meet the tight budget that I proposed.  Refresh With Laura removed all the stress and a major portion of the time required to complete the project.  The end result has finishes and features that visitors to our pool house rave about.

She has a great eye, quickly understood what I was looking for, had amazing sources and is a wonderful sewer.  She was practical, finding bargains when we needed them and elegant pieces to add panache.  Laura was also great at telling when something wasn't going to work, or finding a better piece. > A friend recommended Laura to me when I was admiring the interior of her cottage, so I contacted her when we bought a cottage in the Haliburton area.  Laura visited my new cottage and was able to provide great advice around which pieces of furniture we should keep/re-use and how we could inexpensively update the look of the cottage through paint/light fixtures etc.

> She was extremely flexible in her ability to accommodate my personal taste, and having her involved, prevented me from making expensive mistakes, and saved me loads of time trailing round shops for light fixtures etc - she has a great eye for a bargain!

> I have been working with Laura Willis for five years now and have been thoroughly pleased.  She makes appointments in a timely fashion and is punctual.  She is easy to work with .... friendly and insightful.  Laura quickly comprehends what I am looking to do and will have suggestions.  She understands my decorating style, but can gently expand my view as well.  Laura looks for what is best in a situation, not what is most expensive.  She has helped me choose paint colours, fabrics, linens and accessories for rooms.  When choosing new fabrics, she brings a variety of swatches that will all work in the situation; narrowing the selection, but still giving me a choice.  Because Laura can make pillows, throws, tablecloths, duvet covers etc., she knows what type of fabrics will work in different situations.  She can pull everything  together so that a room has a finished look.  In the long run, I believe Laura saves me both time and money.
