**★★★★★ — Tricia Biocini, Jan. 2026**

> I enjoyed working with the Vision Design team.
> I shared with Sue some of the things I wanted to upgrade in my house. She offered ideas as well such as opening space so my house was not as cluttered with furniture. Sue suggested a target date to have the job completed.
> Both Sue and Victoria shared their professional advice with me which I appreciated very much. Victoria met me at stores to help pick out appliances, paint colors, and countertops. She was dependable, professional as well as friendly.
> The tradesmen who Sue brought in to work in my house were all professional, respectful, and took care of things in a timely manner. Sue met with the workers and made sure I was pleased with their work.
> Sue encouraged me and kept myself and the workers going.
> I highly recommend Vision Design to manage your home project. They were easy to work with and knowledgeable in all the areas needed for my project.
> The project was finished a few days early and everything looks beautiful.
> Tricia Biocini

**Comment from Vision Design:**

> Thanks Tricia. We are so glad we made the target of having the project complete before your new grandbaby arrived. I am so thrilled for you that are happy with your new home.

**★★★★★ — Linda, Jan. 2026**

> We hired Sue after struggling for years over remodel ideas for our 1952 kitchen. Sue and Victoria helped us enormously. Sue had tremendous organizational skills. She had an excellent rapport with the craftsmen who worked on our job. Sue mapped out our kitchen and helped us to understand where things would go. She was also instrumental in scheduling all the contractors. Victoria helped us with the finer points of the remodel, for example, choosing the paint color, the plumbing fixtures, cabinets, cabinet pulls and lighting. Both Victoria and Sue were very responsive to our many questions.
> We went with one of the contractors whom Sue recommended, and we were very happy with him as well.
> Our kitchen remodel took us from 1952 to 2025 with Sue and her team. We couldn't be happier with our lovely kitchen.

**Comment from Vision Design:**

> Thank you so much Jack and Linda. We love the transformation!

**★★★★★ — abiron8, Dec. 2025**

> Vision Design was fantastic to work with. Not only did they create a beautiful, highly functional kitchen, but they also kept everyone on schedule and on task from start to finish. They pushed when needed, coordinated seamlessly with trades, and made sure nothing fell behind. The process was smooth, efficient, and the end result exceeded our expectations. Highly recommend!

**Comment from Vision Design:**

> Thank you Amanda. We loved working with you and your family and are thrilled with the beautiful, functional result. We hope you and your family enjoy it for years to come.

**★★★★★ — Brenda Thrasher, Feb. 2025**

> We were fortunate to have Vision Design assist us with a home remodel recently. The remodel consisted of removing a prefab sunroom and replacing it with a family room, flipping the kitchen and dining area, updating both bathrooms, replacing all windows and doors, installing hardwood floors throughout and changing the interior and exterior style from traditional to modern. Sue and Victoria were a pleasure to work with, they have a good eye for interior and exterior design, color and have some great ideas. All the tradesman they brought to the project were top notch and extremely responsive. They have also been great in following up on any open items after the job was completed. I don’t think we could have done better than Vision Design for our renovation project.

**Comment from Vision Design:**

> Thank you so much Brenda for this great review. We really, really enjoyed working with you and Dan and are so happy that your home turned out so well.
> Very best to you always.

**★★★★★ — Donna Stewart, Feb. 2025**

> I had the pleasure of working with Sue on designing my kitchen, and I can't recommend her enough! I was feeling totally stuck and unsure about how to lay out the space, but Sue came to my home and within just 5 minutes, she had a layout that I absolutely loved. She took the time to understand my vision and really brought it to life.
> Sue helped me with every aspect of the design—she created the cabinet layout, assisted with selecting the perfect stone, and even helped me figure out the best way to position the slabs. She also made sure the electrical layout and lighting selections were spot-on, and offered expert advice when it came to choosing appliances. Sue's attention to detail and expertise made the entire process seamless.
> She was such a pleasure to work with—professional, approachable, and truly dedicated to getting the best result for my kitchen. Now, I couldn’t be happier with the end result! My kitchen is exactly what I wanted, and I absolutely love it.
> If you’re looking for a talented and reliable kitchen designer, Sue is the one to call!

**Comment from Vision Design:**

> Thank you so much for your review, Donna, and all the fun we had doing your kitchen design. I am so glad you love it.!

> We love Vision Design!
>
> Considering whether to hire Sue and Victoria was a no-brainer. We worked with Sue many years ago on a remodel of our two bathrooms and kitchen, Sue was the best part of our remodel experience.
>
> This time was no different. Sue and Victoria helped us with our bathroom remodel. They had ideas and suggestions that made the difference. We are really happy.
>
> We will definitely work with them again.

**Comment from Vision Design:**

> Thanks so so much. We love working with you too.

**★★★★★ — Kacy, Jan. 2025**

> We had several contractors look at our space, but the design layout suggestion never felt right. Sue was able to imagine a functional and improved space that met all of our needs. While there were a few hiccups in the process (delayed/wrong sized cabinets extending our project) overall it went smoothly. I would gladly work with Sue and Victoria in the design process again.

**Comment from Vision Design:**

> Kacy, We are both so happy about your new bedroom/bathroom space and really hope you and your family love it for many years to come.

**★★★★★ — Jennie, Jan. 2025**

> We recently completed a home renovation, and thanks to Sue and her team, the entire process was a success. From the outset, Sue provided multiple floor plans, helping us select the perfect fit for our family's needs and budget. Her expertise was invaluable as she skillfully guided us through working with an architect and securing city approval for our plans.
>
> Sue's proactive approach to decision-making ensured that by the time our general contractor began work, every detail was in place. This meticulous planning not only allowed us to finish the project a couple of weeks early but also saved us from costly and time-consuming errors.
>
> Additionally, we greatly appreciated the educational aspect she brought to the process. She taught us about pros and cons of various materials like stone and tile, different types of flooring, the intricacies of electrical planning and lighting placement and so much more. Her advice on what we should do now vs what we could postpone without impacting current costs or work was also incredibly helpful.
>
> Working with Vision Design made the entire renovation process smoother than we ever imagined. Anyone planning a home project would be in great hands with their expertise.

**Comment from Vision Design:**

> Thank You so Much Jennie. It has been our pleasure to work with you and your family to get the perfect fit on all aspects of your full house remodel. I am very very happy that it is everything you wanted and the process went as smoothly as it did.
>
> We look forward to getting photos and having them up on HOUZZ.
>
> Best,
> Sue and Victoria

**★★★★★ — Steve Carstensen, Jan. 2025**

> Vision Design helped us with a kitchen remodel that turned into a kitchen + TV room remodel, alongside some surprise city-mandated earthquake upgrades. Through out they were detail oriented, diligent, careful, and insightful; they had great ideas, addressed all concerns we had, and always found a path to get us what we wanted or close enough.
>
> They sourced excellent contractors, engineers, and tradespeople for us, and connected us with reputable and skilled local vendors and stores. We always felt like a priority and were supported throughout the project.
>
> We would hire them again in a heartbeat and recommend to all. A+++ quality and value.

**Comment from Vision Design:**

> Thanks so much for your feedback Steve. We really appreciate it and so enjoyed working with you and your family. I am glad that the kitchen and TV room will serve you and your family for many many years to come.

**★★★★★ — Jana, Jan. 2025**

> We put off a home remodel for years because we didn't know where to start. Two friends completed remodels with Sue and they highly recommended her. Now, a year after our remodel I can honestly say we are so happy with the results. Our space is so open and airy, the same square footage lives so much larger than it did previously. Our kitchen is so functional and beautiful and we are really pleased with the results. Our project was estimated to take 4 months and it actually finished early! We went with one of her recommended contractors, Juan, whose quote was fair, and he was easy to work with, and he communicated well, keeping us informed throughout the process.

**Comment from Vision Design:**

> HI Jana,
> I am so pleased to hear that a little less than a year after completion, you are so happy, that your kitchen is functional, comfortable and beautiful. That's what we are always aiming for!

**★★★★★ — Don & Sherrie Durston, Aug. 2024**

> Sue met with us to review our remodel ideas before doing anything else. She gained a good understanding of what we wanted, and she offered tips and ideas for what would look best and what would be easiest to do. She was knowledgeable about building codes and how those would affect our job. She recommended suppliers for everything we needed, and she visited the stores with us to help us select the right products for our job. She also recommended contractors (GC, electrical, flooring, countertop, plumbing) for each part of the job and had them visit us to generate estimates. We were very happy with all of the suppliers and contractors she recommended—this saved us a lot of time and uncertainty in having to select people and companies ourselves! Time with Sue and her helper was always productive; they didn't waste time. They were cordial and friendly.
> Sue was recommended to us by some friends of ours since they were happy with the service she provided for them (for a much larger remodel job than ours).

**Comment from Vision Design:**

> Thank you so much for your review, Don and Sherrie. Your project turned out so wonderfully. I am really happy for you.

**★★★★★ — Kellie Nunokawa, Aug. 2024**

> One of the most daunting questions when approaching a home remodel is, “Where do we start?” For us, we started with Sue and Vision Design, and the entire process was stress-free. From initial conceptualization to complete remodel, Sue walked us through the entire process. Sue presented us with options for layout, materials, vendors, etc., and also shared her trusted advice, which eased our decision-making throughout the process. Her strong relationships with people in the business and her direct communication style moved the project along, finishing on time and on budget. We highly recommend Sue and Vision Design, and in fact, we’ve already referred friends to work with her on their home remodel projects.

**Comment from Vision Design:**

> Thank you so much for the review Kelly. I am so happy with how your project turned out. It's just a great, livable, beautiful family home. And thank you for the referrals to your friends. We will take good care of them too.

## Community Q&A

**Q: Very interesting counter top. What type of granite is it?** *(in Photo Questions)*

I love how "fluid" it looks.

A: Isn't it amazing. It's called Fusion Blue. This slab is leathered meaning it's more textured.

**Q: Hi Do you happen to recall where that Tub Door is from? thanks. ERIC** *(in Photo Questions)*

we cant seem to find anything in that dimension.

A: These custom "shower screens" are measured for, manufactured and installed by a local shower door shop or a glass shop. They are not off the shelf item. You will note that this one has a small fixed panel at the right side. This is to allow the door to avoid bumping into the towel bar at the wall. Your local shower door shop or glass shop will know what to do to advise you.
Good luck with your project!

**Q: What type of tile is the floor?** *(in Photo Questions)*

We are shopping for flooring and this looks perfect!

A: No, this is not a solid surface floor. it is tile.
Master Main floor and shower pan
Vendor: Tile Fantastic
Name: Stone Track
Series: SP 86224
size: 12 x 24
color: Gray

What we were trying to show with this photo is that in a bathroom with a no curb to the shower, otherwise known as a level pan, because there still has to be a 2" drop between the floor and the pan, to contain the water, there is a thin sliver of tile at the edge, where the floor meets the pan. It's hard to describe in words...

**Q: What brand of high gloss red cabinet is being used?** *(in Photo Questions)*

What brand of high gloss red cabinet is being used?

A: These were custom high gloss polyester laminate cabinets from 8 years ago or so.

**Q: where is the wooden bed frame from. thank you** *(in Photo Questions)*

Bed frame

A: I am sorry, I have no idea where the family got this furniture. It was something that they had before the project and re-used.

**Q: Clothesline source?** *(in Photo Questions)*

Sue, who makes this clothesline? Do you find it holds up well over time?

A: I am sorry, there is no visible brand on it and because it was 2018, they don't have any recall or records on... I hope you can find something on Amazon that looks and works similarly.
