Our heater was wired up incorrectly and tried to charge us an insane amount of money to get it started. They did not blow our lines out at the end of the year they did not Properly close our pool. Everything was hooked up incorrectly. Worst pool service I’ve ever dealt with. The pool came out great, but some steps they neglected to take caused the PA Building Permits & Inspections to make numerous visits to our home after the pool was built. According to them, the minute a hole is dug more then 4 feet deep the builder is required to put up a temporary fence which was never done. This fence needed to be up until the full fence was up which there was a 4 week gap between the pool completion and the fence going up. > > I was fined over this, and when I spoke to Flohr pools about making this right because per the building permit regulations and the inspector, Flohr pools was responsible for this fence and they had already been warned about this previously. I spoke to the owner himself about it and he pleaded ignorant to these rules siting "They can't keep up with all the new rules". When she finished she started asking questions to find what our needs were to fit the correct spa. Her knowledge and cheerful smile helped with making the right choice. The delivery men were vary friendly and wanted to make sure everything was set up and where we wanted it. Kim came out to the house after it was hooked up to instruct us on the use of the chemicals. Sent us a new inexperienced crew to install above ground 24 ft. round aluminum pool, didn't have enough screws to put complete railing assembly together, (didn't stock their work van with them either!) then allowed pool water delivery to show up with not enough screws to keep walls from separating as pool water was added. Brand new sand filter didn't work....disaster of an install...fast forward 2 months and we had rocks coming up from bottom of pool, what did Flohr do? Sent a man out to beat them back in sand with a rubber mallet and a 2x4 only to resurface and put a hole in the liner...they did not make it right..don't deal with this unethical company. We have told everyone of our experience for years now because they had such poor customer service. The employees that excavate the ground and the installation crew are all Flohr employees so they have full oversight. We had a tight fit and had to make sitibg changes from the start and Mark and Kim were in contact and made sugestions that really helped. They were there for all inspections to comply with building codes and are respected by the code enforcment officers. Flohr's worked well with our lanscaper/ hardscaper keeping them informed of progress and timeline.
