> This was one of the worst experiences I have had with any home projects and it has discouraged me from taking on any more projects this year. Everything was wrong, the installation, the measurements, the stain of the cabinets, broken and cracked doors and drawers. They asked for a lot of money upfront and then sat on the project to rush it at the end. It took me almost 8mths to finish my kitchen and it is full of mistakes. They do not have the working conditions to provide a high quality product or service. They are not professional. I would not recommend these people to anyone.

> I don't even know where to start about the horrible experience I had working with this man. It baffles me that he can even consider himself a cabinet maker and the fact this is what he does for a living, amazes me even more. My kitchen took over two months to be installed where this normally takes 2-3 days. I was without running water for over 6 weeks, having to wash my dishes in the bathtub and ordering takeout because I had no stove. He didn't know how to measure correctly so he built my corner cabinets too big and had to shrink down my spice rack in order for the other two to fit. Then he built my sink cabinet too small where it didn't line up and was off-centered with the window above it, which left 7" of extra space at the end of the counter. I was forced to pay even more money after I had already paid the full amount (even though my kitchen still wasn't complete) to have him build a bigger cabinet since he messed that one up. Every single cabinet that was installed weren't leveled! (which I then had to rig on my own so it would somehow give the illusion of it looking straight but it still isn't). My stove is extremely slanted so now my back splash looks completely crooked. The doors of the cabinets have a huge gap in between and you can see inside of them. I had to redo ALL of the hardware because not only does he not know how to level, measure nor install, he also doesn't know how to center things. Oh and the guy he had install my quartz counter top, didn't cut the pieces correctly or even bother to glue them down to the cabinets. The list just goes on and on. I ended up spending over an additional $1500 having other people fix this man's mistakes. I regret the day I hired him to do remodel my kitchen. It was by far the most unpleasant experience of my life. It's like a nightmare that wouldn't end....and it's still continuing. Everyday I find something new that he did wrong. Please stay away! I wouldn't trust him to put up a picture frame on the wall.

**Comment from KB ALA MODE, INC.:**

> All kitchens do not normally take 2-3 days to install, it depends on the size and complexity of the kitchen. This kitchen would have normally been installed in 2 days, however, this customer asked me to break down 1 wall and 3 soffits which delayed the installation of the kitchen. Once the kitchen was delivered, the customer decided that she did not like how the cabinets were fitting and she asked that I re-do 5 cabinets which delayed the process even more. The contract states if there are any alterations to the project, it will delay the time that the project will be completed and installed. This customer signed a contract with the measurements as specified by her in the blue prints and the kitchen was built according to her specifications. The stove was not slanted, I explained to her that it has adjustments on the bottom of the stove that had to be aligned. I did not purchase her stove, she bought the stove on her own from a company and it is the deliver's responsibility to level all appliances. All of the cabinets were leveled accordingly, as I used a level to verify it. The doors have the normal gaps that all cabinets have, which is 1/8 of an inch. The granite was cut correctly and fixed onto the cabinet as it normally is installed. The additional $1,500 that this customer had to pay is because she altered the specifications on the contract. She did not over pay, she only paid what she altered. I met up with this customer 4-5 times before I started the project and she took me to different places to pick colors, styles, etc., and I brought her many samples of colors and doors and we designed a custom door to her liking. Company's do not normally go with their customers to pick colors, doors, etc. That is an extra service I provide to my customers. I have been doing cabinets for 25+ years and I take pride in my work and use only the highest quality and best service possible to please the customer. However, once the project is deviated from it's original drawing, time will always be a factor and I always state that very clearly to the customer before I start any job.

> I would recommend this company to everyone. The owner is a very honest, and a man of his word. The work performed exceeded my expectations. When describing what I wanted he suggested ideas to get the most of the space provided. I had the two sides of my garage done with custom designed organizers and still have the ability park my car inside. I have and will continue to use this company in the near future.
