I own an historic home that was badly in need of updates. She recently took on the job of remodeling both my kitchen and living room. Her expertise and design created a cohesive blending. She is a master with color, style and creative design that brought together both modern and yesteryear. I'm happy when I look at the remarkable transformation of my home. I highly recommend Gail Marcell. **★★★★★ — Barbara Pond, Dec. 2019** > Gail is a natural for coming up with ideas for a space, even those tough/challenging areas! And, she is great about keeping the project budget in line :) **★★★★★ — John Alifier, Dec. 2018** > I have worked with Gail on several projects and found her professionalism and customer service to be one of the best in Palm Beach. She gives each project great care that is unsurpassed in the Design Industry, paying attention to every detail. She listens to her clients and gives their project her many years of experience. To work with Gail is truly inspiring to see her projects come to fruition. **★★★★★ — Jodi Holman, Dec. 2018** > We live in the mid-west and purchased a condo in Florida. The condo needed some cosmetic upgrades and all new furnishings. We were in need of an interior design person that could help with both project management of contractor’s in our absence and interior design. We talked to several designers before finding Gail Marcell from The Design Professionals. Gail understood exactly what needed to be done! Not only did she have the technical competence we were looking for, but she is an incredibly warm person. She took the time to get to know us and find out what our likes and dislikes are. Gail has helped with selections for carpet, paint, counters, tile, furniture, light fixtures, and decor. What started as a completely blank colorless palette is now coming together in a beautiful and free flowing river of color. We love working with her and enjoy watching how she processes ideas for our space. She is very visual and always wants to see how things would work in our space. She has taught us how important natural light is and how it affects the colors in our place. Gail has a keen sense for what she thinks we will like and then brings those ideas or selections to us to make a choice - all within our agreed upon budget! We very highly recommend Gail Marcell - and on top of that she is a wonderful and caring person! **★★★★★ — Keller Williams Realty, Dec. 2017** > My team listed a very difficult property in a Country Club Community where homes and condos were not selling! With staging by this professional in place as my team took over the property, together with our pricing and marketing strategy including staging by The Design Professionals we sold the property in record time. All parties happy! **★★★★★ — Brewster Kump, Dec. 2017** > Gail is a Pro! I can confidently recommend her services. > If you like to work with people that are committed to their craft that are professional, punctual, ethical & hard working you should call Gail. **★★★★★ — aspenmdw, July 2017** > Gail was a pleasure to work with - very professional in every aspect of our journey preparing my recently deseased mothers apt. for listing. If you are looking for a stager with impeccable taste that will "captain the ship " then Gail is the one. Excellent communicator, very respectful and just a pleasure to work with. **Comment from Design Professionals:** > UPDATE: This project sold in 30 Days, once staged, after 1 year on the market. Dennis, thank you for the wonderful comments and review. Your ongoing long distance communications were exceptional. I have very much enjoyed working with you and Charlotte. Wishing you both the very best. **★★★★★ — Rose Maria Montenego, April 2017** > Gail Marcell recently completed a Restyling of my townhouse in Boynton Beach. She was well-organized from the onset of the project and listened to my ideas and goals. She shopped for accessories and selected the exact complements to make rooms fresh and alive. > > She displayed an exceptional ability to select and combine colors, and a keen sense of what worked best to integrate the floor plan, accentuating existing features. She has outstanding taste, incorporating what enhances and eliminating what detracts. Great attention to detail and tireless pursuit of "just right"... > I highly recommend Gail for design services. **Comment from Design Professionals:** > Thank you Rose Marie for your review. I'm happy your enjoying the "new" look of your townhouse! **★★★★★ — Dennis Brookman, Feb. 2017** > GREAT!!! Interior Designer. Wonderful to work with on all levels. She knows her colors, she knows how to pull things together and make it work. We have completed a few projects together. I am a kitchen designer from Lowes in Lake Park. I have worked with many contractors, and interior designers. Gail Marcell, I would use any time over all interior designers. She is the best in the industry. If you need to bring more views to your property I highly recommend her. Very easy to deal with **Comment from Design Professionals:** > Thank you, Denise, for your review. It was great working with a fellow New Englander! **★★★★★ — gemmabear13, Aug. 2015** > I hired Ms. Gail Marcel to consult for color consultation with matching in carpet and accessories, with limited budget. She was wonderful, creative and works with any budget. She makes time to talk to me so I understand the process of the project. My clients/patients and fellow professionals admired the outcome of the clinic. Some comments that I love was " The color is very calm and soothing for the eyes", The carpet was beautiful and matches very well the wall paint", " the color combination is looking very fresh everyday and provided a nice lighting effect the whole clinic". My office manager loves everything of it and since the renovation she comes to work early. I intend to rehire her to decorate my house. I highly recommend Ms Gail Marcel to any office renovation/project that you will need, she is friendly, very professional, kind and pay attention to your needs and concerns w/o hesitations. **Comment from Design Professionals:** > Gemma, I'm so happy you and your staff have found the changes to be of benefit to you, staff and your patients. A: Sorry, not sure of the dimensions of this chandelier any longer. You could check with RH and see if they carry this chandelier any longer. Thank you for reaching out - **Q: Hanging Artwork: Modern next to Masters** *(in Design Dilemma)* I live in an 1862 brownstone, with all the classic moldings, woodwork, and ceiling height. As an artist, I also collect artwork. Until now the collection has mostly been modern art from contemporary artists. Well, now I have inherited four substantial classic paintings that are framed traditionally. Until now, I've been the decorator, and the one friends come to for advice. Now, I find myself looking for inspiration on how to hang the modern with the masters. Do you have an article you can point me to that addresses this dilemma? Or post photos, please.
