I was pretty much hopeless that I could ever have a beautiful, functional space. Then along came Bethany and Studio 1049. She listened to my concerns and hopes, helped me define my style, and seemed to know exactly what I needed and would love. She worked a miracle. Bethany created a design that was stunning, beautifully utilizing all available space and came up with ideas I never would have thought of, giving me more space than I ever thought I could have. She was with my husband and I every step of the way - helping us choose the perfect materials, from cabinetry, flooring, and countertops to hardware, lighting and even suggesting where to use accessories I already owned. Bethany also acted as project manager, making sure all materials were on site when they needed to be and resolving any problems with vendors. She worked closely with our contractor to make sure all was as it should be and our renovation was completed in a very timely manner and within our budget. Bethany's design gave me so much more space than I ever thought possible. I truly have the kitchen of my dreams - there is nothing about it that I do not love! Bethany went so far as to give very valuable suggestions as to the placement of all my kitchenware so as to make working in the kitchen easy and efficient. Bethany was a dream and fun to work with. The Kitchen portion is 17.5' across the back wall and about 7' deep where the range is located. The island is 5'4"W x 24"D cabinets with a 15" overhang. Thank you! **Q: Matress** *(in Photo Questions)* Do you use a certain type of mattress outdoors? A: No, we sourced the frame and mattress from a local thrift shop. The mattress had a removable protective lining on it at the time of purchase and we just bought a second waterproof cover for extra measure. (It was almost like a shower curtain liner but it zipped close on the end) Then added an inexpensive fitted sheet over the 2 liners.
