Our in home consultation will consist of listening to the homeowners expectations, discussing project design, materials, and budgets. With these factors in mind we can use our expertise to create an outdoor living area that will truly compliment your lifestyle and needs.

Once the project has begun, an owner of the company personally supervises the crews to ensure that all your expectations are met to your full satisfaction. Your design professional regularly visits your project during construction . Our carpenters are fully insured with Liability and Workers Compensation Insurance. They are career craftsman with years of experience, that take pride in their work. Our jobsites area always clean and orderly, both during construction and after we finish.

> Exterior Design & Decks installed a deck for me about a year and half ago. I got quotes from a number of other deck builders and found Exterior Design to be very competitive. I found Kurt and Rich great to work with. Kurt helped with the design and had a lot of good suggestions.
> They tore down and removed the old deck that came with the house and installed a 12 X 30 deck in its place. They hauled away the old deck and when they were through with the new one cleaned up. They stuck with the schedule and were done on time.

> Getting the zoning variance was the toughest part of this project. Rich and Val were helpful and had great patience as I stumble through making the Sandy Springs building permit department happy with my plan. Once that hurdle was cleared, Val was the go-to as our site manager. He worked with us on changes we found we wanted as the structure progressed and we are quite pleased with the outcome. One thing I enjoyed was having the same talented crew of carpenters do nearly all of the construction with the exception of the painting, oak hard wood flooring and sheet rock work. ED+D also assigned experienced electrician and HVAC techs. We had DryDeck installed under all of the decking not covered with the new metal roof. All of the outdoor and screen porch flooring is beautiful Ipe and the sunroom/painting studio is wide oak tongue and groove.
