I had never gone through any type of renovation before, so I was a little hesitant to move forward with the process of renovating my very small master bathroom. After my first meeting with BPK, I instantly realized how involved and accommodating the entire team would be throughout the process. > > Yuviny, who is absolutely amazing, came by to check out our space and measure the area for a plan. Afterwards, I sent in some pictures of what type of bathroom I was hoping for. Shortly after, my husband and I stopped by their showroom to check out what was drawn up. They helped my vision come to life. From the overall design to the smallest details you wouldn't even think about, everything was well thought-out and available for us to view. Everything that Julia and Marissa had picked out were perfect. They also picked everything with our budget in mind (pretty sure we even ended up slightly under budget). They provided us with a 3D model of the layout and a selections sheet that included links to all the parts that were being ordered for the bathroom. > > The entire construction crew were just as great. Yuviny and his team worked hard every single day. They were always on time and always cleaned up at the end of each day (AMAZING). Each day, they would tell us how the project was coming along and would explain to us what they worked on and what would be next. We spoke with 3 local bath/kitchen renovation companies who gave us similar estimates for the work we wanted to do, but Eric and team gave the clearest responses to the specific concerns we wanted to address in the project (e.g., we wanted to tile all walls, and — because the existing tile installation was one of the motivating factors for this project — we wanted the tile to be installed well). > > Eric's team delivered on time (ahead of schedule, but worked 6 days per week) and on budget. After a successful initial consultation, we put down a $4,000 deposit for the design on 11/9. Since my wife was pregnant, we had a firm deadline for project completion. > > Over a month of meetings, site visits, emails and consultations we were told that we were over budget and elements of our plan were not workable or would be difficult to complete on time. At this point, we decided that BPK wasn't the right fit for us, and that we'd like to explore another option for a contractor. When we informed BPK of this, we got a series of terse emails and were told that BPK would not be supplying any of the designs that we had worked on together to us in an editable format. > > In an email. owner Eric told us "I caution you if you are planning to hire a company offering a better price or promising a better service to complete the project. We could just as easily hire people to complete your kitchen for less however we'd rather not do the project. In my own house I've had each bathroom remodeled and also the kitchen. I tried hiring someone to do our master bath who was half the price. Needless to say not only did the remodel not go well it was a nightmare to live through for a number of reasons. In the end I had to buy a lot of the materials again and redo the bathroom." > > I've waited until now to post my review because we had another company complete our project to our original specs and on our original budget, including features that BPK said were not feasible. That’s right, our project with BPK was completed early and on budget!
