## Community Q&A

**Q: Help! Can't finish off this kitchen!** *(in Design Dilemma)*

Hi everyone! Can you please give me tips how to complete the look of this kitchen? Biggest dilemma is countertop and backsplash choice...suggestions would be greatly appreciated !! The only thing I'm sure about is no tiles on the wall!)

A: Being that you have those light tones on the cabinets, and I see that you have a good amount of natural light coming into tha kitchen, you can go a little darker on the counter ( using a light beige )
and don't be afraid to put a backsplash, a subway tile will look great and give your kitchen a great pop maybe using a 2.5x8 by itself or blended with a 2.5x16 glazed ceramic, this will give you a nice contrast, please see attached pictures

This concrete basement had carpet and Leno for over 10 years.
after a 7 step grind polish and dye the floor looks 100% different.
