The furniture must be painted in high humidity conditions without proper prep. We’ve had so many issues and regret buying a whole house full of this furniture. The paint is literally peeling and they don’t have a replacement and there is no way I can have these repaired for a decent price. Even when we spent 30k we had multiple quality control issues. **★ — ashley louis, Dec. 2018** > We bought a very beautiful and trendy coffee table from a Gabby distributor and less then a year later, the veneer finish on the top started bubbling up. After a few more months it was peeling and cracking off in full pieces. It looks terrible now and even super glue isnt helping. We reached out to Gabby with no response and the store where we purchased it said they would contact Gabby. Neither has offered to replace it or refund the money for a defective product. This was an $800 coffee table. I will never buy products from this store again which is very sad because I love the style. Upon arrival 2 of the 3 boxes were fine. Here is where it gets frustrating for us. I called the company to let them know that the specific hardware for the bar stool was all over the box and of course their is a hole in the box. So we are missing one flat washer and special rubber washer (this one is the real problem). No one ever called me back. So I called again and was asked to send an email this time. I did receive a email back stating this on 4/20: > > “I have place the order for the hardware for the stools. The hardware is in stock and should go out next week. > > Thank you for your business. Please let me know if you need anything else.” > > Now on the fourth day I sent another email asking to notify me when they are shipped and here is the response: > > “You will receive a notification once the items ship. > > Thank you for your business. Please let me know if you need anything else.” > > Now additional 4 days have gone by with no response from the company that the items were shipped. So I called today again to find out the employee is off today and was transferred to the other person in that department to get these washers and left a message to please call me. Still no response from anybody. Sent another email as well. Unfortunately, I called back and asked to speak with a manager or supervisor and I was put on hold for a bit. The same lady came on the phone and said the warehouse flooded and nothing has been shipped and Items have just started shipping again. The employee asked if I don’t receive the parts by Tuesday of following week to call back. Yet my request to speak with someone of authority was not honored. Now I am pissed and can’t believe how hard it is to get these special 5 cent parts. I will not be reordering any items again from this company. The personal touch of this company isn’t there with their employees.
