It is the first time I have ever designed a room from the ground up. I am pleased that the vision I had in my head pretty much came to be. I love the turn out. **Q: small bathroom remodel** *(in Before & After)* This project was undertaken as the existing shower stall was leaking and deemed non-repairable A: Great job! **Q: To Paint or Not to Paint: Exterior Brick** *(in Before & After)* Last year, I made suggestions to a client on sprucing up their exterior; I only saw what they've done last week! I do think painting brick is a good solution to all folks out there getting tired of their pink or red brick {From top left: Before, After , bottom is one of the exterior rendering option we made}. What do you think? Have you painted brick before? Did you like it? A: The paint looks great! That gave the home a more distinctive appearance. **Q: What can I do to this bathroom for relatively cheap?** *(in Remodeling)* We just bought a new house and have not moved in yet. The master bath has so much potential. My only qualm is that the toilet is right new to the nice tub. Obviously we are going to remove the carpet, put tile down, paint the walls, get a new mirror and replace the lights. The trim will be painted white. We may eventually get a new vanity, but not anytime soon. I dont have the dimensions but its big. Any budget friendly (Under 2K) design ideas? Or have you come across any bathrooms on Houzz that are similar in the layout? Thank you! The vanity is directly infront of the tub. there is a large window next to the shower. The doorway is next to the vanity. TY. A: Epoxy is not hard at all especially if you have an artistic eye. Epoxy is a form of art, because you are dealing with paints, sprays, glitter (opt). Depending on what colors and designs you are trying to get out of it. **Q: What could I do to give this bathroom more pop? Paint colors?** *(in Design Dilemma)* This bath has never been right to me. I'm trying to find a way to coordinate it better. Maybe another paint color? help. A: I would redo the counter tops,paint the wall, and different flooring. I have some pictures I can share with you of bathrooms that we have redone with epoxy, reglaze, and multispec. These two bathroom counters were redone using epoxy. You can poor epoxy over the existing countertop, and flooring. This is a reglaze. Its a coating sprayed onto the surface. It makes the surface look brand new and you do not have to rip out or replace the tub, tile, or cabinets. Comes in other colors too. This coating is also a reglaze, but is known as multispec.
