Alison studied Fine Art at Moore College of Art and Design in Philadelphia in 1998. Soon after she found herself in the corporate world managing people and projects for over 10 years. Having built strong professional management skills, she decided to shift her focus back to her fine art training and love of beautiful things.

She graduated from the New York School of Interior Design in 2013, at the top of her class. She left school ready to marry the complexities of construction and renovation, with her passion for creating beautiful spaces, and she has been doing so ever since. She worked closely with Blair Harris for three years honing her skills while managing a wide range of projects at Blair Harris Interior Design. A.Jennison Interiors opened in 2015.

Alison is currently working on a full townhouse renovation in Greenpoint, Brooklyn, a two apartment combination in Greenwich Village, as well as furnishing two beautiful pre-war apartments one on the Upper West Side and the other in Historic Brooklyn Heights.

> My husband and I were doing a complete gut renovation of a 2 family townhouse into a single family home and we quickly realized we needed help a few months into the project. Hiring Alison was one of the best decisions we made. She was very well organized, detail oriented, efficient with our time, and easy to work with. There are so many beautiful details throughout the home that would have been missed if it wasn't for her expertise. She not only helped create our dream home, but she made it much better than we initially imagined. One of the things that I really found to be valuable was that she was a great communicator and was always responsive. There were many moving parts especially towards the end of the project and I felt that she was always on top of it. I don't hesitate to recommend her any chance I get and will definitely hire her on any future projects.

> In 2015 my wife and I bought an apartment on the Upper East Side that had "good bones" but needed a thorough facelift/redecoration. We never could have imagined how beautiful it would turn out once Alison worked her magic! So good, in fact, that we hired her again in 2017 to completely renovate our master bathroom (which we skipped when we first moved in). Alison’s style is sophisticated but comfortable, current without being trendy. What we love most about working with Alison is that she takes the time to listen to our goals and desires, then uses her immense talents and repertoire to pull together a design board that brings to life what we had in mind but could not fully envision without her help. That is the fun part of designing, but Alison also excels at the not-so-fun parts: responding promptly to emails and calls, nailing the details of the layout and furniture dimensions to maximize useable space, managing through the inevitable SNAFUs (e.g., our contractor discovered the apartment above ours has been leaking down on us for years), etc. She also has an impressive Rolodex of the best local vendors and contractors for tilework, cabinetry, wallpaper and painting (I didn’t understand what a “high end” paint job was until I saw the results), antiques, accessories – you name it she can find it. If we are ever even thinking of buying another property, Alison will be our first call.

> Alison designed our apartment when we combined two neighboring units. This entailed a top to bottom design of the new unit and a near total redo of the existing unit (4BR/ 4BA). She worked well within our budget and gave us multiple but consistent options across different price ranges for all the large items. Her suggestions on wall / floor coverings, bathroom fixtures, furniture, lighting and art were impeccable. Total professional with a great eye!!

> Alison is superb in so many ways. She has vision and an amazing eye. Her style is on-trend and timeless at the same time. She takes the time to get to know her clients and comes back with designs that you will absolutely love--it was your vision only better. She is so easy to work with. In addition, she works incredibly well with contractors and vendors--from lighting design to bathrooms to built-in custom millwork she can do it all plus design your home interior with unique, gorgeous furniture, accesorries and lighting. She is detail-oriented and thinks about everything from doorknobs to dining room tables. If I ever have another design project Alison will be my first call.

> I truly cannot recommend Alison highly enough. She has an artist's talent for creating stunning juxtaposition of texture, color, line, and style in a space. Her talent for picking out and putting together beautiful items, coupled with her experience and extensive professional resources, has made our home a beautiful and comfortable place to be. She has shown the utmost professionalism in all of her interactions with us - timely responses to emails, phone calls, punctuality in face-to-face meetings, flexibility and responsiveness to our tastes and opinions. We feel fortunate to have had the opportunity to work with Alison, and look forward to working with her again on future projects.

**★★★★★ — Ryan Christopher, Oct. 2016**

> Alison is the preeminent professional when it comes to interior design. She's thoughtful, inquisitive and economical in her choices, always striving to remain honest about what selections will work collectively and what will suit your needs not only in the immediate, but years down the road. I highly recommend her.

**★★★★★ — Michael Archuleta, Aug. 2016**

> Alison has been a pleasure to work with. She's helped find us some really great pieces, and been very easy to communicate and plan with. We look forward to working on another room with her soon.
