I approached Brad when my husband and I purchased a mid-century modern townhome in Phoenix. Since it was a small space, I wanted to maximize the use of the space while remaining true to the architectural vision posed by Al Beadle. In addition, I wanted to blend my love of industrial modern with mid-century style while finding a way to include modern conveniences. I immediately knew after my first meeting with Brad that he understood my vision and that he was much more than a general contractor. He very quickly came up with plans to match my design and introduced me to all the suppliers that we would need to realize the final vision. AFT was on top of the ordering process and managed all the materials from the start. I was also very impressed with the team of project managers assigned to my project. Unlike many general contractors, Brad and his team initiated a high and consistent level of communication with me as both client and designer. His entire staff was responsive to any request and I felt like I could contact them with any detail, big or small. Attention to detail is important to me and AFT didn’t disappoint. From the plate and drain covers to the high gloss cabinetry and appliances, the team was there to manage each aspect of this project. I can be a demanding client but I always felt that AFT was on my side. There was several times during the renovation that I was out of town and I didn’t worry that work would continue in my absence. I felt completely confident in the team and knew that I could trust them to watch over the details. Moreover, AFT only uses the best sub-contractors and I was pleased with each of my interactions with the various plumbers, painters, cabinetry and metal designers that I met on this project. Even down to the final walk-through and punch list, AFT stayed with me and responded quickly. Additionally, the billing process was simple and painless. Although the major phase of my renovation is complete, I plan to use them for some small projects.
