We had a couple of change orders along the way, and not only did Dorian provide pricing on the fly, he managed to provide better options and opinions as well. The backyard had an old cedar deck that was falling apart and a sloping grade that made it dangerous and not at all appealing to hang out in. I contacted Colectivo and they came out and immediately had insight as to how to make the space more interesting and useful to us. We ended up replacing the old cedar deck with a stone patio (so much cleaner and less maintenance) and adding a steel pergola. We terraced the backyard to create a flat space and installed a wood burning fire pit. Now, we almost spend more time outside than inside, its like we added another room to our house! We had a great experience developing the design and the installation was seamless. The crew was fast, efficient, and very polite.
