No 2 Landscape projects are the same. Similar characteristics may be done for each one but the differences can make Landscape & Irrigation construction one of the most difficult of all the building trades to "Job Cost". To just simply give "typical" cost details for all the aspects of each individual Landscape Design\\Build installations is easier said than done when done correctly.

**★★★★★ — Aqua Conservation, Aug. 2023**

> TC is very knowledgeable, experienced, and respectfully thoughtful towards the correct processes that it takes for the best long-term outcome of the project. His ability to foresee changes in the Landscape as well as our life as time progresses truly is amazing.
> He calls it "His gift from Heaven above" and after watching how hard he works it proves he really cares about what will be left behind when completed. He explains that not only is he here to protect our investment but it is also an investment on his part.
> TC carefully listened to the ideas or goals we would like and then asked questions as he discussed the things we didn't see or think about with some alternatives, and possible cost-effective enhancements while explaining his thoughts and letting us decide how to proceed.
> Yes, it may have gone a bit over budget but in the aspect of not having to spend much more down the road to keep the plants and turf healthy because we didn't want to bring in good soil ..... well that's what he leaves for one to decide.
> TC will not be the "slam it in the ground, go as fast as possible cutting corners lowball guy" if you are just wanting a project done.
> Your Landscape is the first and last impression your visitors and neighbors have of your home.
> Aqua Conservation and TC clearly understand that and will be proud to come play in your dirt.

## Community Q&A

**Q: Loss of prime on irrigation system** *(in Irrigation)*

After priming and use the system the priming is lost so I have to prime it over again. Once I fill the pump and the suction pipe through the regulator valve I notice the water slowly going down. I fill it again, and again because the water keeps disappearing. It doesn't matter how many times I keep filling it up the slowly goes down. What could be the problem?

A: Typically that is a faulty or stuck open foot valve at the bottom of the inlet (suction pipe) but it could be a faulty check valve or even a hole in the inlet pipe itself. You will have to pull the inlet pipe out and check for all three problems but most often it is the foot valve not closing tightly to hold the water in the inlet pipe. If you had a hole or leak in the impeller housing the water would only leak out until the housing was emptied with a small amount being drawn out of the inlet pipe but only until it reaches a static level.

**Q: Garden mister systems** *(in Irrigation)*

Couldn't figure out where else to post this, 'cause it's about irrigating people....

Anyway, I've got a mister system strung up along the fence around my back patio. It works well - though less so after several years. The micron-sized orifices are slowly getting plugged up - calcification, I assume - and I don't have anything small enough to clean 'em. Other than soaking in mild acid - maybe even heated vinegar - is there anything else that can be done? Most of the removeable bits are brass.

Cheers

A: How are things working out for you now? Yes I understand that you had flushed the system and sometimes it may take more than a couple of tries at it. Keep up with it periodically each year and you'll have better luck...as I'm sure you have that figured out as well my friend. Hope you found you camp stove and it probably needs used this year also so get out there with it! Have great days always. Adios
