## About

### Houzz Badges

- 25,000 Ideabook Saves

As "in city" neighborhood real estate becomes more desirable, I enhance the value of your home with my interior remodels, house raising projects, and back yard cottage design services.

Kitchen/Bath Remodel:

My custom additions and interior kitchen & bathroom remodels are designed with the goal to improve resale value of your home. A kitchen and bathroom remodel will get you the strongest return of your money because your improvements will often add more than the cost of the project to the value of the home. The added advantage is you will enjoy the benefits of the remodel.

House Raising:

House raising adds significant value to your home by doubling your livable square footage with an entire level and minimizing the cost and inconvenience of total teardowns or moving. They are one of the best ways to increase home value with a livable, attractive space that can provide income from rent or the ability to house an additional family member.

Backyard Cottages:

The backyard cottage is a great housing opportunity that enables working families to live in the city by adapting the living environment to changing family needs. Backyard cottages are separate buildings that are often constructed in the yard just a few feet away from the owner's main home. They can house an aging parent to maintain their independence or an adult child. They are also an easy way to get regular additional income that will recoup the cost of construction, especially in neighborhoods with growing demand for affordable housing options.

Sustainability:

I work with you to make design choices that create a healthy place for you to live. From lighting and appliances to plumbing fixtures and interior finishes, we make choices to optimize the function of your home and make a difference in the environment.

I am a full service residential architect with a passion for well-designed spaces that add value to your home. My collaboration with local contractors, engineers and tradespeople provides you with affordable, professional services and expertise. I look forward to hearing about your specific design needs. Please contact me for more information about my services.
