They also brought considerable problem solving skills and creativity to the project - important since we lived quite a distance from the project. A couple of the elements that they thought of were simply brilliant and made the place uniquely ours. They provided pictures of the progress on a nearly weekly basis and often used the pictures to ask us questions about next steps on one thing or another. We flew in to see the project four times during construction and they always used our time efficiently and effectively. The project was completed on time and they stuck to the budget (any budget overages were due to our choices).
