**★★★★★ — Joy Wiggins, Feb. 2021**

> Frank was wonderful to work with in every aspect of our project to build a two-level porch/patio to our existing lake house. He was friendly, professional and accommodating to our busy schedules through the process, and he provided valuable creative, technical and practical suggestions as we worked through the many options in our decision making process. Our house is 20+ years old, and our beautiful porch/patio looks and feels like it was built with our house, perfectly aligning from the lower patio up to the roof line. He provided great ideas such as tapering the rock columns to provide aesthetic appeal, input on the lower and upper fireplaces, and suggestions on lighting on both the upper and lower levels that we would have never thought of on our own. We have enjoyed our new outdoor living spaces for eight months now, and look forward to enjoying many more months and years ahead!

**★★★★★ — HU-301228967, June 2020**

> We hired Frank to draw up plans to extend our outdoor living space. The original porch ceiling height was just over 10 feet and we had three different roof lines, all at different heights, needing to be tied in - it was a lot to bring together. Frank was easy to work with, gave us insights and ideas and is a man of his word. Would use him again.

> Hiring Frank Bain as our architect was the best thing we ever did when building our home. He was able to make our dream home a reality. His ideas and talents for using our landscape for optimal views of the lake were amazing! We enjoyed working with Frank so much. He is a talented artist and a true professional. We now consider him a friend as well. We highly recommend Anthemion Architecture and couldn’t be happier that we made this choice. Sincerely The Bullocks

> We hired Anthemion Architecture to design an addition to a two story house. The requirements were to try and add the extension so it would look like part of the original house. The addition was approximately 850 square feet. It included a small addition to the existing dining room and a master bath and bedroom. It included vaulted ceilings in the master bath and bedroom. Fireplaces in the master bedroom and on deck. The fireplaces were built back to back.
> Mr. Frank Bain was the architect and we met with him and discussed our requirements and possibilities. Frank was very professional, very personable, and very knowledgeable of home additions. He did a thorough walk thru and survey of our existing house. He developed plans of the existing house and ideas of how to do the addition. We met with Frank again to finalize the details. Frank did an excellent job designing the addition, to make it appear as a natural fit to the existing house. He designed a gabled roof that looked great. He did an excellent job designing the fireplaces and overall extension to make it look as natural as possible. The addition did not look like an addition when the project was completed.
> Frank did a great job with the design. We greatly appreciated his professionalism and his creative ideas. He was very informative, and very sensitive to our needs and ideas. Frank was very responsive to our time line and did a great job expediting the project. He was responsive to phone calls and returned calls in a timely manor. Over all I would rate Frank Bain and his architectural firm five stars. I would definitely hire this firm again and highly recommend them for residential remodeling.
> I am a professional engineer and retired project manager. I greatly appreciated the service we received from Anthemion Architecture.

> We started the intimidating process of building a home by being referred to Frank Bain who eased our fears and immediately made us feel comfortable with the process. He was able to take our concept and turn it into exactly what we had dreamed of. Frank was very helpful in offering design changes and working with the more complicated aspects of our blueprints. He was easy to communicate with and available at all times during the entire process. His attention to detail and ability to work very closely with the builder defined his excellence. I recommend Anthemion Architecture enthusiastically and without reservation.

> Frank Bain was the architect recommended by our builders when we were beginning the process of a house renovation. We could not have been more pleased. Frank was extremely friendly, patient, and a pleasure to work with. He had plans and revisions completed as promised and on time. He took our ideas and desires and added his architectural knowledge to transform our house into exactly what we wanted.

**★★★★★ — Diane Throop, Nov. 2014**

> We used Frank Bain (Anthemion Architecture) to design our home and it was a great experience. Frank was easy to work with listening to our ideas and yet bringing in his professional opinions so that our home is a wonder blend of our vision with a flair that a good architect can bring. He started with our building site and spent time making sure that the house was sited well to optimize the views, topography and all things that make the approach to our home so perfect. He pushed us on some choices, challenged us on others -- and we couldn't be happier with the final result. He worked extremely well with our interior designer and the landscape architect as well -- the team work was an asset to the project and our home.

**★★★★★ — honeycj, Nov. 2014**

> Anthemion Architecture exceded our expectations in every way. On our first meeting, Frank listened to exactly what our desires were, focusing his design on what WE wanted. In a few short weeks Frank produced a design that was absolutely spot on. Throughout the construction phase Frank was instrumental in keeping the project on track and insured that the design was correct in the field. Our dream home is finally a reality and it could not have been possible without Frank. Not only is he a pleasure to work with (Very important in the design process-it should be fun!), but his attention to detail and knowledge...well, he is worth every penny.

> Building a house from the ground up is not an easy affair. Having done many a DIY project, and even building a pre-designed home from a large national builder does not adequately prepare you for actually taking an idea of the perfect house in your head and constructing a real house on a piece of land. In our case, we had probably been building the ideal house in our minds for five years. We knew what features we wanted to have in the house, but, we quickly discovered, that isn't enough. All of these individual features need to fit together like pieces of a puzzle and, in the end, provide a coherent and architecturally beautiful plan. Keep in mind, a builder will construct just about anything you tell them, whether it makes sense or not. Frank sat with us, discussed our vision, our style and our budget. He even took our simple drawings, worked them into a functional concept and created that coherent design. He added design elements that we never would have thought about and elevated our simple concept into something that was beautiful. For instance, Frank's design added a secondary staircase that, while eminently practical, opened up a dark hallway on the lower level so that it didn't feel like a basement. It was a simple addition that completely changed the feel of the lower level and we would have never thought about it on our own. Over several weeks, and before a single tree had been cleared, Frank worked with us on several iterations until the design matched our vision, and could actually be constructed. After construction began, Frank continued to work with the builder through the framing phase and ensured that the house was being built in accordance with the plan or to accommodate any necessary modifications. In fact, at one point during framing, we discovered that the builder had modified the window design in a way that would have altered the front elevation. Frank stepped in and, working with the builder, changed the ceiling design and preserved the visual balance of the original design. The new ceiling ended up being a new architectural feature. The house is now almost complete and it is living up to all our expectations. Frank helped us build a vision.

**Comment from Anthemion Architecture LLC:**
