At first Carlos explained in great detail the different types and styles of windows ( wood frame, vinyl, single hung, double hung, side wise opening, etc). Then after determining the type of window to purchase he personally measured the dimensions of each of the five windows. He measured each of the windows again, this time with the help of his carpenter. Two of the side-by-side windows were to be combined into a single bay-window; so, many verification of the dimensions were repeated there. Installation of the windows was very precise due to his measurements. Some others would have used molding to hide any imperfections of fit; but Carlos' windows were fitted without fault. We are very satisfied with the newly installed windows. > The door had the same treatment from Carlos. Can you tell me what tile/material is around the shower and on the floor in the 8 by 5 bathroom with the blue vanity? Thanks! A: auggie1020 Thank you. Your vanity has a "furniture" toe-kick so if you ask my opinion, it should be installed floating and not flushed to the left wall - it was meant to stand on its own like a piece of furniture - especially with that kind of vanity sink. However, if space is tight, then I guess it should also be OK. If space is tight, I wouldn't use that kind of sink/vanity because you won't have enough space for a countertop. Though the sink is nice and big - it's not really very functional. Another thing to consider is the function of this bathroom. If it's a powder room, then it should be OK - but if it's an actual bathroom that you or someone will be using on a daily basis - then where do you place all your other stuff with no countertop space? What is the depth of this counter extension over the toilet? A: Hi Shirley and Steel Turner - Sub-top (plywood) is 6", the actual countertop material will be appx 1" more than that = 7". Depending on your actual toilet, you can go up to 8" as long as the countertop does not exceed the face of your toilet tank. Hope this helps.
