**Q: Wall color** *(in Photo Questions)*

Would love to know the paint color?

A: Hi there, unfortunately we don't have this color on our files.  It was chosen by the client during construction. If we come across this information, we will post the details. Sorry for not been able to help. Have a great rest of your weekend.

Could you please tell me the manufacturer of the door?

A: These are custom doors and windows. They were built by a local shop, but I don't think they are still around.

What type of stone is the seat made of we are making one at the moment but no sure what to put on the part you seat on

A: The stone we used is called Texas Cream Limestone. I hope that helps!

A: It has been so long seen we designed this house. What comes to mind at the moment without digging into our archives is a pull from Top Knob's \#M391.

**Q: How to get rid of 'texture', replace standard with bullnose?** *(in Photo Questions)*

I have lazy builder 'texture' all over the house- the kind they smack all over the walls to hide their tape seams.  You can still even see where the screws are in places, these half inch raised spots where the sheets were joined, so the texturing isn't fooling anyone anyway.   The corners are sharp. The texture seems to enhance the feeling and appearance of living in DRYWALL.  I learned to do American Clay, and did a small area so far, but I don't think that will fly in the whole house when we sell, I think most people would want to choose their wall colors so American Clay is not the answer.  Do I sand to the bare drywall and paint or (which I am fine with), sand it most of the way and then apply a coat of joint compound like a smooth plaster completely over the walls and paint? I feel the latter would have a higher quality appearance. Also, is it difficult to replace the sharp corner beads with bullnose?  Whew!  Thanks!

A: Well, where do I start! Let me see, America clay is probably fine if the colors and application are done just right. I have not seen your final work so it's hard for me to judge.  The safer route is the latter of your choices.  I would try to go for a smooth finish knowing that you will have a bigger market wanting that particular look on the walls. Regarding the sharp corners, they are not difficult to replace except that it can be time consuming specially if you do not have too much practice at it. However, not knowing the architectural style of your home, again it's hard for me to recommend for you to remove the sharp corners. It you have a modern architectural style home with clean lines, then the sharp corners will probably be in keeping with the architecture. I hope this help!
