She has fabulous taste! She recently helped me select paint colors for the exterior of my home and decorate my front porch. She also decorated my living and dining room and kitchen several years ago. She goes above and beyond and treats her work like the artist she is, where my home is her canvas and she creates a beautiful piece of art that I love to come home to. Friends often say how much they love my home and that it feels warm and really reflects me. **★★★ — Gary Knoblock, Dec. 2019** > Just started shopping to replace furniture that Anastasia chose for the design for my living room and dining room less than two years ago, and it’s quite frustrating to be replacing it. I decided to write a review to share guidance on how to work with Anastasia successfully. I think key is to look really carefully at her photos on Houzz because that really is what you’ll get – it just turns out not to be my style at all. The results in my house I find to be rather fussy and precious. I hired her for a $10,000 contract to redo the dining room and living room and thought because of her being an artist and her past work she could put together something that was interesting and eclectic – I just didn’t realize I would get exactly the look and feel of the photos. She put all the emphasis on the curtains (as you’ll see are emphasized in the photos online) and they cost $11,000 but she never could land on a fabric that was a good fit so in the end we just picked one and the results are meh. At this point I’d like to change them out, as with the sofa fabric she picked out. She strongly emphasizes investing in the curtains, but only do this if you like this look. In hindsight, I would have much rather bought really good carpets but she really wanted to go cheap on those. She used up the $10,000 contract before finishing so didn’t do any work on the carpets or decorations that was supposed to be included. We wasted a lot of hours looking for fabric for a bench that turned out to be the wrong dimensions to fit under the dining room table. Successful were her recommendations for lighting in the living room and a paint color for the walls. Anastasia is a lovely person and definitely has a strong design sense, just make sure it’s a fit for the look you want. **★★★★★ — HU-84764044, Dec. 2019** > when I decided to repaint the interior of my house in the fall of 2019 I was certain I could select my own colors. However, I quickly became overwhelmed with options, paint swatches covered my walls, my choices were all over the place, I had no direction. I was torn between wanting deep, rich, striking contrast vs. a calming, restful look. I needed someone with an artist’s eye to come in, with confidence, and not be afraid to tell me what to do. I contacted Anastasia Faiella because of her ratings, and she is an artist in my neighborhood. > She was EXACTLY what I needed. Her manner is very gentle but her core is made of steel; she was very confident regarding her recommendations. She listened to me, spent a long time in my house and then came up with suggestions that I would never have considered. I was skeptical, But I was unhappy with my direction so I took a deep breath and followed hers recommendations. I am so glad I did. The look is is beautiful, restful, and warm. The colors flow from one space to the next. She worked with me on paint color, layout, and how to bring the room together to feel more cohesive and comfortable.
