> Ron Bowler of Natural Elements was recommended to us by the dealer for the composite decking we wanted to use to resurface our 2000 square foot deck. After patiently waiting one year for us to make up our minds, Ron met with us and together we determined that the whole substructure needed to be replaced as well, as posts had rotted and heaved over time. Ron began work on our deck after Labour Day 2012. By the end of October (rain held things up a bit), we had the most amazing deck! I like to tell anyone who will listen that we actually ended up with a better and more beautiful structure than we had expected. How often does that happen? Ron was a pleasure to work with, consulting with us over every detail to ensure that the end result was all we had hoped. His knowledge of the products was second to none. He also made a number of design improvements to the original outline that only served to further improve the final effect. Our project came in on time and on budget. We couldn't be happier! We're looking forward to working together with Ron on future projects this summer. Thank you so much Ron!
> I prefer not to include the cost of the project in this assessment as I feel that is a private matter.

> Ron has completed several projects at our home over the past 5 years. These include a front stone walkway, raised stone back patio, trellis/privacy fence and installed a storage system in our garage. Ron's work is meticulous, he uses excellent material, cleans up the site & is always courteous and friendly. He listens to your requests & comes up with a solution. He's always available for minor repairs (at no charge). I trust Ron 100% & would have no problem leaving him working in our home even if I wasn't there.

> Ron and his crew landscaped my backyard. Ron helped me with my ideas and then recommended his ideas. Together we ended up with a masterpiece.
> They also reconstructed and extend my upper deck. The project was a retaining wall with lights wired in , a huge unistone patio walking out of my lower level and a step up to a wooden deck.
> I now have multi levels and zones to entertain my guests.
> A year later he redesigned my front entrance porch. He laid out composite decking in beige color with a gray border and installed beautiful railings ( the ones you never need to paint) highly recommend them , and stone steps and a little flower bed.
> The best part of Natural Elements is their warranty on their work. When I had little issues Ron would address them quickly.
> They stand by their work and they treat it as if it's their house their working on.
> I would use them again and again, and I highly recommend them.

> I have worked with Natural Elements for more than 5 years and am always 100% happy with the results; both interior and exterior projects. Ron always has great, creative ideas to share and is willing to go the extra step to bring all ideas to a successful result.

## Community Q&A

**Q: Can you tell me what color the pavers are on this patio?** *(in Photo Questions)*

A: The pavers are a tumbled Oaks paver in buff mix and the border is executive grey.

**Q: how are the stone shelves supported?** *(in Photo Questions)*

A: They are actually engineered 2x4s that are laminated together to create 12" deep 3 1/2" high shelves. They are held in place with 15" bolts that run thru the shelf and are fastened to plates built into the walls. The shelves were then veneered with limestone pebbles. However nowhere are the shelves attached to the granite slabs that created the main surface of the fireplace.
