It is gorgeous and everything I wanted it to be. Rob did the majority of the work . He was always punctual, courteous, friendly , and definitely knowledgeable. The work was meticulously done. I also worked with Shane, Jesus, Jamie and others. Everyone was professional and expert. I hired home masters to design my new kitchen and make it modern and practical for my family. Doug was great at designing my kitchen, it came effortless to him and he really took the time to listen to me. Both Doug and Shane, the Superintendent, worked together to give me the kitchen I wanted and the result was amazing. Shane and his technicians are complete professionals. His technicians were always on time and I was impressed with the schedule they kept and the routine they had of cleaning up at the end of the day. After the kitchen was done, I noticed a small crack in one of the floor tile. I called Home Masters and they immediately came out and fixed it at no charge. I am now in the process of hiring them again to remodel the master bathroom. We set up an appointment and they were really fast to respond and give me an estimate..... Price was a little bit higher then normal, but i was assured by Mort (the owner) that his guys were the best and even though it might be a little more, it would be done right with no exceptions.... > > So to the one and only bad part...... If you plan on ordering windows..... DO THEM YOUR SELF! It was such a pain relying on Home Masters to get something as simple as windows, even if it wasn't their fault and shipping was the issue, just get them yourselves and save your self the hassle. > > Anyways onto the good parts ( and there are many). First and foremost CJ (most amazing worker in our opinion) was so attentive to our needs. I can see why Home Masters hired him because he was on top of our contract like no other! Even if it was a simple question he was always in contact with his boss Shane (also pretty awesome but kind of a rule follower :/ ) CJ was always on time and worked so hard! We even had issues with some of the other workers that were part time or new and he fixed them right away. Hats off to him for all the changes and issues as well as my picky better half. The work was indeed 5STAR work and it came out beautifully as u can see in some of the pictures we posted for you. The vendors Shane brought in for the other parts of the job were very professional as well and completed tasks on schedule which was nice because remodeling can be very tedious at times if not organized properly. > > In conclusion these guys were in and out in 5-6 weeks doing a massive job that included a 200 square feet bathroom and part of my bedroom that included a split fireplace island which was fully tiled and finished with a metal edge. It was a big project and very exhausting but Home Masters is definitely up to the task at hand when you need top notch services! Project was completed on time and the finished product is gorgeous. A completely different look without changing the footprint. **★ — vanslate, March 2016** > Extremely dissappointed and would be very cautious about using them. They tell you they can do everything but "everything" costs additional money and is not included in the bid. The worst thing was the poor quality of work. Some of their contractors are very unskilled and I had to hire other contractors to get things redone. Items disappeared and the excuse was that it was someone else's fault as other people were in the house. This is not a company I would recommend to anyone **Comment from Home Masters:** > On our initial appointment with Ms. Vanslate; she had hired multiple contractors (some unlicensed) to work on various parts of her home. On our first day of work the floors were supposed to be prepped and ready for install as well as all the demo for the kitchen. This was not completed due to one of her contractors being put in jail. Needless to say, as promised by Ms. Vanslate the site was not ready for us. I'll summarize the bad news. Yes we charged her for SOME extras that her other contractors neglected. The good news is that we did MANY extras at NO CHARGE. We also custom built a new kitchen with custom cabinets in 4 weeks. We completely remodeled 2 bathrooms within 4 weeks. We accepted her daughter in law to move in while work was taken place when her condo sold sooner than expected and made many concessions for her comfort. The posting of her review due to her own frustrations with some previously bad hiring decisions and taking those frustrations out on Home Masters is without reason. This job was completed 6 months ago and paid in full with no negative comments or phone calls along the way. I'm sorry that Ms. Vanslate is frustrated but she had no right to take it out on Home Masters. Please look for the Vanslate pictures posted in our gallery. He was extremely easy to work with and very accommodating even when we decided to make a few changes during the remodel process. This caused some delays but Mort was more than willing to accommodate the changes. His workers were very nice and professional. They were able to keep the space clean since it was attached to our bedroom. All in all it was a great experience the outcome was beautiful and we couldn't be happier with the end result. Great company to work with.
