> I contacted Mike when my 1910 home needed repair for leaking around the windows.  The job was fairly complicated, requiring removal and replacement of the original cedar shingles, flashing and trim on the front of the house.  Mike also had to make each new small individual shingle, following a pattern he traced in order to perfectly match and integrate with the remaining original shingles.  Because the problem was occurring on the 2nd and 3rd floor levels, staging had to be set up.

> Michael contracted with me to build out a 750 sq ft kitchen/mudroom/office/sunroom space which turned out to be absolutely stunning.  The process was complex because I had terminated the original contractor and Michael stepped in just before the walls were closed up and assumed responsibility mid-winter.  Much of the work had to be re-done and there were delicate negotiations with the building department.  Michael is a person you can trust in your home and our young children were around during construction because we continued to live in the house.  He is thoughtful, diligent, and has good ideas.  He is a skillful carpenter and came up with some creative ways to make things "fit" and still look professional.  I've hired Michael back several times since he kitchen completion and referred him to others who have spoke highly of his work.  Lastly, Michael has a good sense of humor and we needed that!
