> I hired Jonathan to build a custom vacation house on Dale Hollow Lake in 2012.  I live in Nashville so I knew that building a house remotely would be challenging.  I bid out the project to 4 general contractors including Sound Structures.  Jonathan was 15% less expensive than the next lowest bid and was awarded the project.  I am in the commercial real estate development business and I hire several different commercial general contractors for projects across the country each year. I can say without hesitation that working with Jonathan on this house was the most pleasurable construction project in my 20+ year career.  Jonathan is smart, experienced, tech savvy, honest, hardworking, detailed and extremely responsive.

A home purchase is a major decision and it is important to work with someone you trust and who has a high sense of integrity. I found Jonathan's words met his actions every time. I could not be more pleased with the quality of the home and 15 months later I have not regretted the home purchase for a minute. > Sound Structures, Inc. was an excellent company.  If there were issues of which they were unsure, they would call to check what I wanted.  For example when they were painting the outside of the house I was called to make sure it was the right color, because it was quite bright.  It was the right color, but they checked to make sure.  I love the rounded corners on the walls,  It keeps them from getting nicked too easily.  One of my friends, who teaches construction, came by and thought the work was excellent as well. They always kept me apprised of any changes taking place in the scheduling.  The project was completed within the predicted timeframe.

A: Here is a layout you can go by. The island is roughly 11' long. The "cubby" as you called it, is approximately 5' x 7'.
