> We worked with Ryan on our landscape remodeling project this past year. This included remodeling our backyard & front yard. Ryan worked on both design concepts for our back and front, taking into consideration our detailed requests (kids/dog) on how we hoped each area would function. We had a number of revisions which Ryan happily helped worked through with us.

> Ryan Cummings designed and installed a very nice backyard garden for us.  This was an EBMUD rebate project, where we replaced an irrigated lawn with low water usage plants, set in a compost and mulch bed, with drip irrigation.  Ryan came to look at the project, listened carefully to our ideas and plant preferences, and added many of his own suggestions.  He then sent us many photos of various plants he thought would work well in our setting, we got back to him with our preferences.  Next came a design meeting (over zoom) where he presented the finished plan with lots of drawings and photos of the plants he would be using.  He took all the time needed to answer our many questions; a very easy and friendly person to work with. We made a few minor changes, and went with this plan.  Ryan was here during the entire installation, doing and supervising the work.  Everything went very smoothly, the project was done on time and on budget.  Our yard is transformed and we are really happy with the outcome, and with working so smoothly with Ryan.  EBMUD approved our full rebate less than a week after the project was finished.  I would give Ryan and Cummings Landscape Architecture my highest rating, and recommend them for design and/or installation of landscapes.

> We did our part and let our lawn go with the plans of making it drought tolerant/ low maintenance. Not very many reputable landscape designers gave us the time of day to even look at our property. Bottom line, BuenoLuna Landscape design/ Ryan Cummings was very accommodating in seeing our dreams brought to reality! Through personal visits and emails, Ryan worked with us to understand our wishes. When the time came to act, Ryan kept us updated daily of the work until BAM! the project was completed. We are looking forward to working with BuenoLuna Landscape design this coming Spring 2018 in expanding our backyard living space. In addition, Ryan also recommended state and county rebates to help with the project cost. Just wonderful!

> Ryan / Bueno Luna did an excellent job designing and landscaping our backyard. We wanted a flexible design that could work with a future remodel of the house.  Ryan understood what we were looking for and did a great job creating a design that works for us now and can be adapted in the future if/when we change the house.  He was easy to work with, stayed within his original estimate, and did a nice job communicating with us throughout the project.  The work included grading, putting in a new lawn and irrigation system, selecting and planting plants/trees/fruit trees/shrubs that worked with our mostly native garden, installing lighting, and building beds for a vegetable garden.  Ryan has a great eye for design and solid workmanship,  and is great at selecting plants. We highly recommend him and would gladly work with him again.

A: It's an A. uva-ursi variety, I don't remember which, maybe 'Radiant'.

**Q: What is the size and distance between pavers?** *(in Photo Questions)*

This walkway is so lovely. I'd love to know the size of the pavers and the distance between them. Thank you.

A: We poured them 3'x3' with 4" between them.
