Unfortunately, after project completion, a leak developed in the shower due to poor workmanship, causing extensive water damage to the carpet in an adjacent area of our home. While Signature did address and repair the leak itself, they declined to compensate us for the resulting damage, leaving us with nearly $3,000 in repair costs. Given their refusal to reimburse these expenses caused by their error, we regretfully cannot recommend Signature Kitchen and Bath as a company that stands by their work fairly. **Comment from Signature Kitchen & Bath:** > Hi Steven, > > Thank you for your review. So a pretty significant project with an equally significant price tag. > > Only four years in my master bath shower is now leaking. I think it is reasonable for a shower that has only been in place for four years, not to leak. Especially since the shower that was there previously, for decades, never leaked. I called Signature Kitchen and Bath to explain the situation. The receptionist took a message and said someone would call me back. Of course, they didn’t, so I called again the next day, and the receptionist took a message and said someone would call me back. The Marketing Manager called me back explained the person with whom I needed to speak was on vacation, but she would be sure to provide my contact information so he could call me back. That was March 2022, and it is now July 2022. I still don’t have a call back. > > I was told by the Marketing Manager that standard industry practice is a one year warranty on the project which is convenient since the leak was discovered to be caused by not grouting the design element in the shower. Meaning…the worker didn’t put ANY grout in the tile to prevent water from getting BEHIND the tile and causing a leak. Guess what…when you have a shower leak, the only way to fix it is to get a whole new shower done. So, yes, I had to pay thousands of dollars to get the shower redone ONLY 4 years later. > > The industry standard may be only a one year warranty, but there are places and people who will stand behind their work regardless of legal terms. Unfortunately, Signature Kitchen and Bath is not one of those high quality, integrity driven places. **★★ — HU-986250740, Aug. 2021** > I am disappointed to have to write this but we have been very disappointed with the customer service and follow up in regards to problems we are having with the soft close mechanisms on our drawers. We loved our cabinets, the design and installation process Very professional and good workmanship. But as we realized the drawers were not functioning properly a service call was made. We thought that had solved the problem but when it did not we haven’t gotten anybody at Signature to return our calls. I have called on multiple occasions for a return call by our designer Steve. It’s been a week and no return call.
