> Alex is in the process of building our home right now, a passive solar project with a collaborative design. The best thing about working with Alex is the trust we have that he will make every decision in our best interest, and will not compromise whatsoever on quality and workmanship throughout the entire construction process. Knowing this--knowing Alex for the past thirty years--has put our minds at ease during what might otherwise be a stressful and uncertain process. We know Alex will save us money where he can, and he's shown he has the knowledge and experience to make the right calls across the board. Alex is honest and straightforward, and there is no question we are very lucky to have him as our builder.

> Alex rebuilt my deck using Azek decking material. The deck came out beautiful, and he was always professional throughout the entire job. He had some great suggestions as he went along to give the deck some real character.  In addition to my deck, he resided the roof cupola using concrete siding for my wood burning stove pipe.  Alex was always punctual, answered questions I had, listened to questions and concerns, had an eye for detail, and was very meticulous about his work.  I will hire Alex any time I have a project requiring his expertise.

> Alex did several jobs for us.  He demoed and then rebuilt a large outside deck, he did a total remodel of our master bath and he did some amount of both interior and exterior painting.  The deck was the largest project, followed by the bath.  We were more than satisfied with every bit of work he did for us.  His estimates were reasonable and were never exceeded; he worked hard to complete work on time; he kept us informed every step of the way, asking for and accepting our input and suggestions along the way; his work was of the very highest quality; he always maintained a meticulous job site; and he was a pleasure to have around.
