The property manager assigned to your community explicitly told us to not communicate with you regarding the landscape of the community. This is very standard in HOA maintenance. We typically only communicate with the property manager and not the board. We are really sorry you feel this way. We feel Avondale is looking great and if you would like to be the point of contact please initiate an email from the property manager giving us permission to work with you. We are just doing what we are told by the property management company that hired us. > > > Thanks **★ — HU-357307000, March 2021** > I had them pull out several tall, overgrown shrubs and plant around 22 new smaller ones. They did a good enough job and said the plants came with a 6 month warranty. The plants were all rated to survive at -10° temperatures. The six months were approaching, but I could not yet tell how the plants made the winter. I asked about the warranty and suggested I might need a few plants replaced later. They summarily dismissed my query with "act of God" verbiage even though the temperature only dropped to 0°. No offer to provide any support, whether or not it is really needed. > > They charged 3-4 times what the shrubs cost in nurseries. I was somewhat ok with this given the warranty, but very disappointed that they wouldn't follow through. It was Mike who provided the overall concept and sketches. Kyle accompanied the crew on day one and reviewed with us and explained the plan with the crew so all parties were on the same page. Each day the crew showed up promptly at 730am and worked diligently and tirelessly until 5pm. Omar, crew leader, was approachable and amenable to questions. The job site was always picked up prior to the crew leaving @ 5pm. Zach visited our home a couple days prior to completion. There were a few punch list items and a leaking irrigation line that delayed the crew a day. The three principals and crew, along with Diana, were professional at all times. Communication amongst all was great. I have recommended Clients First Landscape to neighbors and we will hire, again, for future landscape projects. I contacted Zach to let him know about the gaps opening up between the pavers and the cracks in the stone border mortar. He immediately responded that it was covered under warranty and provided me with a time frame for his team to repair it. They came out, added re-bar and concrete to the foundation to prevent future shifting and relaid all the pavers. Couldn't be happier with the responsiveness and workmanship. Many companies are quick to respond to problems when money is on the line, but this is one of the few I've worked with that cares about their clients when there is nothing to gain financially. Called - lady on the phone gave me the same $2.5K minimum project (mine was going to be in the tens of thousands). I gave her a description of scope and she said "oh yea we do all that". Tried to nail down some dates and times to have a review/quote given and I was told "Our sales guy doesn't do after 5PM". I'm sorry, what do you expect to happen when people actually work for a living? Anyway, she said she'll make him come out after 5PM. > > Day comes along - guy is 15 minutes late. Drives by our house twice in his clearly marked Infiniti with CFL logos all over it. Finally parks and comes to the door - clearly as uninterested in providing a quote as you could get. Give him a high level what we want to do, he says "Yep we can do all that, let me go get you my business card." Walks out, grabs a card, walks in and hands it to me and says he will have a quote over in 2-3 days. > > Considering we are tearing out and replacing decking, redoing the pool, not even a single measurement? The experience was fantastic. Exceptional Customer Service. Zach represented his Company very well during estimate process. This was a big job, the crews were punctual, professional and hard working.
