It is a highly functional office space with amazing storage that presents as more of a lovely sitting room or library, with so many interesting vintage items! - [Stairway Art Gallery](https://www.houzz.com/hznb/projects/stairway-art-gallery-pj-vj~2089507) - Location: Portland, OR - Photos: 1 - Description: An abundant original art collection required a creative way to ensure everything could be displayed in this clients home. We utilized every inch of space in both the upper and lower staircases of this home by hanging the art "salon style". This is the upper staircase. - [Dream Dressing Room](https://www.houzz.com/hznb/projects/dream-dressing-room-pj-vj~2068661) - Location: Portland, OR - Photos: 6 - Description: With very little original closet space in the master bedroom of this 1920's house, we transformed the old sleeping porch off the master bedroom into a luxurious walk-in dressing room with abundant space for clothes and accessories. It almost feels more like a small boutique than a closet with its designated places to store handbags, shoes and jewelry as well as clothing. - [Eclectic Romantic Master Bedroom](https://www.houzz.com/hznb/projects/eclectic-romantic-master-bedroom-pj-vj~2068695) - Location: Portland, OR - Photos: 7 - Description: This upper level master bedroom in a 1920's home needed a ceiling overlay and functional closet space. We designed a built-in unit and added sliding panel doors to replace the curtains that previously concealed the space. They now conceal clothing on one side and a sizable television on the other. - [Hallway Landing](https://www.houzz.com/hznb/projects/hallway-landing-pj-vj~2089506) - Location: Portland, OR - Photos: 2 - [Bathroom](https://www.houzz.com/hznb/projects/bathroom-pj-vj~2089457) - Location: Portland, OR - Photos: 5 - Description: This craftsman bungalow did not have a bathroom upstairs where the bedrooms were located, so we added one by extending the dormer over the roof just off the landing at the top of the stairway. We creating a modern, functional shower, but maintained the period of the historic home with subway and hexagon tiles in the shower and on the floor, wide molding and vintage inspired plumbing fixtures. - [Sunny Family Room](https://www.houzz.com/hznb/projects/sunny-family-room-pj-vj~2068680) - Location: Portland, OR - Photos: 4 - Description: A small eating area flows from the kitchen and into a comfy sitting space for the entire family. A large screen TV is concealed within an alcove opposite the most comfortable piece of furniture in the house - the sofa. - [Cozy Guest Retreat](https://www.houzz.com/hznb/projects/cozy-guest-retreat-pj-vj~2089461) - Location: Portland, OR - Photos: 7 - Description: Soft blush pink and unique vintage finds accent this cozy guest bedroom. - [Soft Glamour Dining and Living](https://www.houzz.com/hznb/projects/soft-glamour-dining-and-living-pj-vj~2068739) - Location: Portland, OR - Photos: 17 - Description: Soft pink walls provide a glow to this otherwise neutral dining and living room. Dark brown wood furniture and brown velvet upholstered chairs anchor the palette and provide a striking contrast to creamy white furniture, and painted woodwork. Original built-in buffet had been previously removed from this historic home, but we designed a replacement, built by an artisan contractor to make it look as though it has been there all along. - [Inspiring Industrial Artist Studio](https://www.houzz.com/hznb/projects/inspiring-industrial-artist-studio-pj-vj~2068637) - Location: Portland, OR - Photos: 15 - Description: This spectacular metals & mixed-media artist studio came to life with the remodeling of an unfinished basement. What was once a damp, dark cellar, is now a well-lit creative space with the addition of several windows and a glass door leading onto a beautiful patio. All storage, work surfaces, and furniture was salvaged from flea markets, junk stores, or second hand stores and carefully refurbished or repurposed. - [Front Porch Bungalow](https://www.houzz.com/hznb/projects/front-porch-bungalow-pj-vj~2089509) - Location: Portland, OR - Photos: 8 [See all 11 projects](https://www.houzz.com/professionals/interior-designers-and-decorators/rl-design-studio-pfvwus-pf~2081863309) --- *Source: Houzz professional profile.
